Until recently Christian was losing more matches then he was winning. You're an idiot OP.

This. Exactly.

Also, can the IWC stop using the word bury until they actually know what it means? Ever since Christian has returned, he's had competitive and good matches with every single of his opponents, which is the exact opposite of burying. He hasn't squashed anyone or dominated any match. Every match has been designed to get his opponent over and look as good as possible in the ring as he lets them showcase their offense (while not afraid to take bumps to sell it.)

The OP is confusing winning and losing with being buried. Titus O'Neil looked amazing facing Christian, to the point that some were convinced that he had loads of potential. On Smackdown, Christian showcased Swagger and made him have one of his best matches in recent memory. Christian's finally booked very well in the perfect role as the wily veteran and he's one of the few currently trying to get WWE's numerous heels over as future stars.

He may be in the third spot on the card, but it's only under two GIGANTIC legit main events. With his age and injury history, this might be actually getting booked as his last big run before he hangs up the boots.
Christian is 39. Henry just signed a contract until age 45 and Christian's putting on longer and more physical matches than Henry. I'm not sure why the IWC keeps trying to put a cap on how long Christian can go in the ring. He's said numerous times that as long as he's having fun, he'll continue to wrestle. For all we know, he could be doing this for another decade.

There isn't a hidden meaning here. Christian's one more match is a carry over from his previous gimmick and he keeps saying it because it catches on and people repeat it. I think that anything else is taking it too far.

Christian's booking is because Smackdown needs a top face and there isn't any other realistic options who can put over Del Rio at SummerSlam. RVD is a part timer that isn't going to be put in a long term feud with Del Rio. Orton has the briefcase and isn't going to put over Del Rio. WWE is hesitant to put anyone over Sheamus. Christian was the only one left and the perfect man to do it.

If anything, Christian's booking is going to make him a bigger contributor to Smackdown as the veteran face and it will be interesting to see Christian's next feud once he's done with Del Rio.

That does make sense as well, honestly. I'm really not trying to put a cap on his career or anything, I'm kinda ambivalent to him as a singles wrestler, so however long he has left I'm neither for or against him. I was only mentioning that because it kinda jumped out at me when I watched SD last night, just a theory. Dude deserves to do whatever he likes as far as his career goes, he's paid his dues a couple of times over.

Just because you lose doesn't mean you got buried. And just because you lose doesn't mean you "jobbed"

Christian isn't burying anyone... are you an idiot? You think Christian is backstage saying FUCK THAT YOUNG GUY I'M GOING OVER!

No, he's doing what he's told like everyone else. The fact he's stringing together an impressive run of wins and they keep referencing him wanting "one more match" for the WHC title... it seems logical to me that management are gonna give him a title match pretty soon and are building him for that. That's kinda the ways things used to be - guys went on a good run, won some matches which made them eligible for title shots.

And besides, Christian is a veteran, well liked, well respected and a former World Champion so it is FAR from a burial to lose a competitive TV match with the guy. He's done his fair share of losing over the years to help other people out so if he needs a few wins from some young guys to make his return look credible enough for a title shot - then so fucking be it, damn it.
