Wins over people who aren't in any storyline (eg. Titus, Swagger etc) doesn't hurt the losing guys momentum, since he's not using it anyway.

But on topic, Christian doesn't book himself here guys.

Burying is probably the wrong term but as said I do think the OP has a point, at the minute what he's doing is the same as what Orton and Sheamus were doing for a few months (and Sheamus still is to an extent) where he's got next to no direction but as one of the 'top' guys still needs to appear on TV (and win) each week, so he's just working his way through the midcard.

People moaned when Sheamus was pointlessly going over Barrett, Rhodes, Sandow and the like every week and I don't see what's so different here.

Having read the Smackdown spoilers though pretty much everything I've said could be made redundant as it appears they're actually doing something with Christian.

On what planet? People here defend Christian only when someone talks undeserving BS about him, only because they don´t like him. So if he is IWC darling what are Bryan and Punk then?

Personally, I am beginning to wonder if this push may actually be Christian's swan song. They reportedly waited to bring him back until "they had something for him", his current angle is to keep referencing "one more match", and now he's picking up a bit of momentum going into a title match at the No 2 PPV of the year. He may be in the third spot on the card, but it's only under two GIGANTIC legit main events. With his age and injury history, this might be actually getting booked as his last big run before he hangs up the boots.

I don't know why he's getting this current push, other than "eh, he's been here for years". He hasn't reinvented himself (character-wise, and certainly not physically), his matches are mediocre and contain that stupid clap, and he is so monotone and dull on the mic.

I know he's good in the ring and on the mic but is he really that great?
Why would you state that you know he's good, then ask if he's good?

so you actually don't like the guy, you're some kind of pissed that he wins and complain here.

I had nothing against Sheamus and Orton winning matches. They are top guys and of course they need to win.The way you win a match is the problem.Christian doesn't squash anyone. He is beaten down in almost every mathc,he let his opponents do their moves and sells them very well.I could say his opponets are more offensive than him or even.
Sheamus doesn't sell and squash almost everyone. He even beat Rhodes and Sandow in a f'n handicap match.
Christians matches are even and he sometimes wins with a roll up which shouldn't be seen as weak move because you actually outsmart your opponent.

Christian isn't burying anyone!

Don't you know, no is allowed to win any matches ever or else they're a politicking burial king. From now on all matches end in 3 hour time limit draws when RAW has to end and another programe starts. Also if you're over 30 you can never achieve anything because you're holding down young talent...

...unless you're Chris Jericho.
