If Cena retains at Extreme Rules, who should he fight next for the WWE title?

Answer the poll and explain your answer.

I think a heel Orton might seem the most obvious, especially with him being on the poster of the next PPV, but I think a sudden heel turn would be a waste for a B-level PPV. Such an angle, bringing Orton back into the main event scene, deserves to main event Summerslam.

Personally, I'd love to see Dean Ambrose, backed by The Shield. Would be something completely fresh and new. I guess there isn't many other options.

Also, don't blame me for the weak poll list.. that's pretty much the best of what WWE has to offer right now, in the heel department. Haven't included Brock, because I highly doubt they would waste one of his dates on a B-level PPV.

Next Pay-Per-View is in Chicago. Punk & Cena have incredible chemistry.

Basically, that's it.

Punk/Shield member

Maybe BOTH Punk and a Shield member

Ryback has his revenge match at Payback, Punk comes back there and we have a Cena/Punk match for MiTB, simple as that

I have a feeling that the Ryback feud is going to get stretched out for two pay per views, since I can't see the match at ER having a clean finish.
