he beat the rock in a majority of their matches. the rock is still more popular. when he had his reign of terror, I literally stopped watching. Name me someone backstage who he hasn't beat in those couple of years.

Like somebody said, he was always the guy that worked with the big draws. One of the best ever, though. No question about it. His drawing power or lack of doesn't change that fact.

All he is though, is like a more important Chris Jericho. Difference is he doesn't do the jobs.

You think CM Punk is a draw. Your opinion is invalid. jklolincomingflamesjustsayin

As awesome as Austin & The Rock were in the day WWF was sooo lucky to have a mega heel like Triple H in the late late 90's early 2k's.

Without him being this legit , cerebral, methodical bad guy , Austin and Rocky could of got boring fast.

Epic memories of his entrance 'My Time' theme blazing out in arena darkness.

Re: HHH Maybe A Main Eventer But He Was Never A Draw

he was a draw. not as much as austin or the rock but he was still popular. problem is everyone looks at triple h in a diffrent light due to his back stage presence with him being part off the wwe family. that has not helped triple h in the long run.

short term yes as he got pretty much what he wanted back then. but now he isn't credited for the work he did as we no triple h and his politics backstage helped him become who he is.

i don't like him i do think his a nasty piece off shit as he got his own way. but i like the character he has played but i don't like him personly

Re: HHH Maybe A Main Eventer But He Was Never A Draw

He's a draw to me.

He makes ME watch the show, that's all that matters.

I can't remember the last time I was watching a HHH match enjoying it, then thinking ''shit i bet this match isn't drawing the viewers in''..........

Firstly, he didn't 'bury' half the people you listed. Kane has always been used to put people over, Kevin Nash was essentially done with the WWE anyway. As for Goldberg, they feuded for months and Triple H dropped the title to him. I would hardly constitute that as burying .

The decline in ratings was inevitable, even if Austin & The Rock had stayed we probably would've seen it. The Attitude Era was dead, the boom had ended. The product was still decent but the times had changed, that's all there is to it.

This. And to reiterate my first question which you didn't answer, why do you even care if other people are watching or not?

Re: HHH Maybe A Main Eventer But He Was Never A Draw

Yeah, wasn't much of a draw. Solid worker, decent character at times, useful supplement to certain angles in helping others get over or bolstering some form of interest, and by today's standards he's a draw, but 2002-2004, Raw was tanking pretty hard.

Granted, with the loss of Austin and the Rock and the idea behind the brand extension, ratings and buyrates were bound to decrease so it's not all on Triple H. But the guy is kinda delusional. He thinks he's a massive draw and an interest generator when he really isn't.

Did you just compare Triple H to Jeff Jarrett ?
