Default CM Punk and leaving the WWE

If creative and Punk really didn't get along where would we all be? I mean if he up and quits, who's going to fill that big void he left? Or wouldn't it be more incredible if he left and went to TNA and started an invasion angle over there? I mean sure Hulk and his buddies wouldn't find him very credible as a wrestler. Yet at the same time they would be forced to play his invasion as something of a bigger caliber.

I was thinking...
Did CM Punk's issue with the creative somehow caused/related with Antonio Cesaro losing the US Title?

Thankfully they worked things out because I feel like CM Punk still has a lot to offer. He's marketable, a great wrestler, great on the microphone, he's just got the total package as a face and heel. I think he was to leave, it would leave to that question, "Who would replace him?". The problem is, they aren't pushing any other superstars to that caliber in terms of main eventing or being largely marketable. They've had chances in the past like Alex Riley, and then they just get lazy and drop it or even Kofi back in 2009 where he was gaining his status and they drop the ball. WWE just doesn't want to create new stars, they just want to squeeze whatever they can out of the already made stars such as Cena and Punk and then have Lesnar return, verses making a new top star. The TNA invasion would definitely be intriguing and I'd watch that!

I wouldn't believe that dirtsheet article. Punk has been planning for time off to rehab his knee since before Wrestlemania.

why do people think Punk will go to TNA? it's like saying John Cena, Sheamus etc would go to TNA when they're on top of the WWE. Silly.

Punk is a really good actor as he somehow convinces a lot of you that he is unhappy. He even admits that he is an asshole backstage and will fight with them until he gets what he wants. He is the Shawn Michaels of the current era both in talent and backstage pull but a little less extreme.

I'm pretty certain he'll be back. If for some reason he did leave, I'm thinking someone like Ryback, Orton, Sheamus,or Alberto Del Rio would take his place as the number two guy. Maybe Ziggler or Swagger. In my eyes the WWE haven't built anyone else up enough to take CM Punk's place.

I like CM Punk, but I kind of doubt he has enough of a following to get TNA to rival the WWE all on his own.
