Opening Scene with BigE Dolph and AJ

Did anyone else find BigE to actually hit the ring announcement for Dolph pretty accurately as Riccardo? I liked it and it made me laugh..Besides for Dolph's annoying cracking voice I thought his promo was pretty good..anyone agree?

His voice was cracking because he strained his vocal chords by screaming on Raw over his WHC win, but it was another good promo by Dolph Ziggler.

Big E is also entertaining as hell and shows some personality. He cut a decent promo on Main Event.

It was alright, nothing special. My ability to enjoy the segment was hindered by Del Rio and Swagger interrupting him. It's become apparent to me that Ziggler needs to work on giving promos in front of live crowds.

Re: Opening Scene with BigE Dolph and AJ

But it was always going to be interrupted. He's not meant to be that megaface where the locker room celebrates his win. Big E mocking Ricardo should have been evidence enough of that.

They had to tie up a few strings with regards to storylines, and write Jericho off for a while (because of his touring). Of course with Ziggler suffering defeats throughout this year, kayfabe wise, those in the back will be biting at the heels to get a piece of him. They've proven they can beat him, so for all intents and purposes, they feel they can be champ, too, so it won't be as if there will be a lone, "brave" challenger that could take him on.

Besides, it fits eloquently with his gimmick of being the show-off/show-stealer yet always having his spotlight stolen.

I really enjoyed the opening promo. I thought Ziggler did really well in his role, Big E's announcement was pretty good too. And generally I didn't mind the interruptions. They need to try and establish potential challengers as soon as they can to get something rolling.

Marking for: John Morrison, Randy Orton, CM Punk, Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler, Cody Rhodes and Jack Swagger.

I enjoyed it for the most part, though I thought the interruptions were poorly done and felt a little awkward, apart from Jericho's which was brilliant. I enjoyed Ziggler and Big E though, I'm glad he's getting a chance to show more character and personality, I'm sure it'll be fleshed out a lot more during his reign too.

Promo was good, it wasnt hard to notice his voice was a bit scratchy that day. If that ruined the promo for you, well idk what can i say. But its probably because ppl are used to hearing Dolph about every 3 month so they forget what he sounds like

Re: Opening Scene with BigE Dolph and AJ

I thought the promo was great, other than his strained vocal chords I thought Ziggler did a great job on the microphone. I'm just glad that I finally have a reason to watch Smackdown, since Edge's retirement I haven't been watching unless I was colossally bored or there was a particular segment/match that was highly rated on here, which I'd then feel obligated to check it out. My only fear is that are going to completely bury Ziggler over the next couple of weeks, leading to a subsequent title drop at Extreme Rules. Ideally I'd like him to hold the title until at least Summerslam, having some highly entertaining feuds between now and then, we can all dream right?

Ziggler is still pretty average on the mic. Thought Jericho showed him up a bit.
