Thank god that whole idea kinda fizzled out. Jesus, I was pretty damn close to tuning out completely.

But, out of the three hours, I maybe watch a half hour tops. Maybe one match if I'm lucky. Perfect example this week. Watched the HHH/HBK/Lesnar segment, the Henry/Santino "match", the Del Rio/Dutch "match", Rocky's promo and the Punk/Taker closer. Everything else is worthy of a fast forward.

this is like the 3rd or 4th mediocre to poor raw in a row. this is their A game going into Wrestlemania. isn't that mind boggling? once again Punk/Taker was the only thing worth watching in the entire show. wish i could take back the other 2 hours of blah blah blah that was pointless to watch.

Here's something to think about... has Monday Night RAW become like The Simpsons, in that, the show's been on the air for so long now, are there more bad years of RAW than there are good? Is the show staying alive based on it's former glory?

i used to do that and fast forward past parts that i assumed were crappy or matches that i didn't think would be good and found out afterwards on here i missed something good. i'd have to go back and watch some parts i skipped. cuz i'm afraid of missing something good i now force myself to sit though 2 hours of shit to get 10-20 minutes of good stuff. it's really a great use of my time.

I stopped watching around that time as I felt the show was too boring and as I result I didn't see much between 07-10. I then started watching again after The Rock returned in 2011 and it's been terrible. Unlike before, there are no more veterans like HBK, Ric Flair, Triple H or Edge to provide at least one watchable feud or match.
This. 90% of the year when the big stars aren't around, there is a SERIOUS lack of star power in WWE. I mean, the two biggest stars they have are John Cena and CM Punk. One guy has been pretty much the same exact guy for 8 (going on 9) years. The kids who started watching John Cena in 2005 have moved to the next stage of their lives. If they were 8 back then, guess what? They're 16 now. 16-18 years old is when guys start to rebel, even if it's just alittle bit. Do you really think they want to sit in front of a TV for 3 hours every Monday night and watch the guy they grew up watching be the SAME exact guy he was when they were 8? Of course not.

You have to have these guys re-invent themselves every now and then to stay fresh. Look at guys like Undertaker, HBK, Triple H, Rock, and Austin. Back when they were all full timers and in their prime, they constantly changed at least 1 thing about themselves in an 8-9 year time period. The face of the company the past 8 years hasn't. How is that the case, especially in the 21st century when all forms of entertainment are about staying fresh, relevant, and hip?

Unless they change their ways, this company is in alot of trouble going forward. A 3.1 rating in the go-home edition of Raw before WM is fucking sad and has to scare them. If they think putting the title on Cena again and him being the same face he's been since 2005 is going to cure everything, they are sorely mistaken.

They even tried to give it a second go with the whole "social media ambassador" and that lasted about a month.

Khole Kardashian? Really?

Celebrity guest hosts, a RAW general manager who was a computer... Adamle as GM...

Lots of things I can think of that just made me facepalm. RAW has been weak for a very long time.

For a while. The last few years have been similar to the mid 90s, but only with better in-ring talent (which makes the bad booking even more frustrating) and a better financial situation. Cena's very stale like Hogan was in the 90s until he turned heel (hopefully he DOES turn heel at WM but I doubt it), the shows are very formulaic and scripted to the bone, and they've missed the boat with so many good talents for some of the pettiest things (MVP, Kennedy, Carlito, Morrison, etc.). Punk's the only real star they've made since Cena, Batista, Edge, and Orton... this past WM build, which resulted in a mediocre/bad OLD SCHOOL RAW, is also one of the worst of all time, which is saying something because 2011's, 2008's, and 2006's had their share of bad shows. It's starting to make 2005 and before look like the Attitude era...

I literally stopped watching Raw in 2009 post Mania, but around 2007 is when it was unbearable.

I was hoping at least a few decent RAWs leading into WM... The only thing that entertained me was the Ziggler/Bryan match this last week
