Was the last Punk/Taker segment too much?

I know it's hot in the Raw thread but I wanted to put it to a vote. This segment is definitely going down in history though. Either as a huge mistake, or one of the best segments in history.

EDIT: I voted no for the few posters who somehow interpreted otherwise from my clearly unbiased OP

I think it was fucking great, wouldn't have worked otherwise, the insane punk pouring the ashes over taker and rubing himself with it was awesome, made him look like a psychotic bastard who needs to be put down for good (which will happen if rumors are true and he goes away for several months), made the segment actually work and made it much more interesting

No, it was fine.

Sometimes things happen that seem, to me, to be past the line of poor taste, such as repeated airings of video from Lawler's heart attack. This, however, was working a death into a storyline in a way that, while tacky (as are most things about wrestling), wasn't graphic or real. Exploitative? Maybe, but I didn't see it as insulting to the person involved.

As I said in the live thread, I could see the storyline as a kind of tribute and send off for both the character and the man. I don't have any problem with it, and almost sort of like having Paul Bearer be a part of Wrestlemania one last time.

Paul Bearer would not have minded at all, so fuck no was it too much.

It was amazing. Awesome ending. Couldn't have gone a better way with the way in which this match has been built up the past few weeks.

I'll say yes, even though I wasn't very offended since I knew that obviously they weren't his ashes. It's still no mystery why people might be offended by it.

I thought it was a powerful ending to say the least. I do think it's sick in a way to exploit a man's death to "enhance" something that's meant to be entertaining.

But they did GREAT job making Heyman look like Bearer, it helps that he is also fat.

On another note, how awesome would it be to be a druid? Get to carry a torch while the UNDERTAKER walks out? Surreal man.

We all know WWE creative can't come up with jack s*** so let's just take this feud for what it's worth because I seem to think this is REAL personal now and there wouldn't have been any other way to get this feud that way so just enjoy the ride without being too sensitive.
