Re: Should Antonio Cesaro become the longest reigning US champion in history?
IF they went that route; I'd rather they make a storyline of it, with many superstars from RAW, SD, heck even NXT who try their utmost to have Cesaro lose his championship. (Because only a true American should ever break the longest reign record of the US Championship)
It shouldn't be a 24/7 overcome-the-odds-athon, but a mix between barely winning a match and completely squashing opponents in other matches.
The PPV match before the 'reignbreaking' should be an orgy of excitement. Ending in a last breath amazing uppercut.
(Falls count anywhere: Cesaro's KO'd on the announce table, someone jumps from the top rope onto the announce table, but at the last split second, Cesaro gets up, gives the other guy one of his breathtaking European uppercuts and just falls into the cover. 1. 2. 3.)
(And yes, I am expecting a forced face-turn, because if done right, the crowd will get behind Cesaro, like they are behind Punk)
This storyline really writes itself.
