Re: Should Antonio Cesaro become the longest reigning US champion in history?

The problem with bringing Cesaro to the world title scene is...how would he win it? I can't see him realistically winning the WWE title in the Cenaverse, maybe the WHC, but I'd much prefer to see him showcased in the midcard than 'lost' in the ME card.

Call Kenny Loggins. Cause you're in the Danger Zone.

I like the sound of it but I doubt it will happen. He should holt it until around Money in the Bank season. Book him a bit stronger and it will be a memorable reign.

He's lost too many matches for this reign to be considered as a strong one. Though he'll probably drop the belt to Miz at Mania.

Antonio Cesaro should not be anywhere near the longest-reigning US champion in history.

He would win with MITB like all the other up-and-coming heels of recent years. And as much as people are sick of MITB at this point, he will likely win his first World Title that way, and he's a strong candidate to win MITB this year imo, and if he drops the US Title soon then expect that even more.

It would be more appealing to see Antonio Cesaro become the third unsung Funkadactyl of Brodus Clay.

Re: Should Antonio Cesaro become the longest reigning US champion in history?

His at 200 days, they should make him champion longer than MVP held the title. MVP having that statistic does no gokd for anyone, it's best if Cesaro beats it and helps him looking strong. Once he graduate's to the world title league, at least he has one credible statistic to make look impressive. Those who say he shouldn't be the longest reigning US champ are plain stupid.

If WWE decide to do this, they need to start booking him strong again and make him win on a regular basis.

It would be awesome if he beat Luger's record. It's just a shame that the US title means nothing these days.
