I agree OP Kane really needs to retire i cant believe Glenn Jacobs has just gone along with what hes been told and ruined his character. Kane debuted as this unstoppable monster. And now look hes just this hugging, soft guy its so fucked up. I know Glenn Jacobs wants to put over other talent to further the business for the future but my god hes ruined his character that he worked so hard on

I agree, I want the Kane from 2012 back. The one that was smothering Cena and throwing Zack Ryder off the stage in a wheelchair. That was hilarious TV.

This childish thing with Bryan isn't funny. And Bryan is my favourite wrestler.

If you want to use Kane in a comedic way, they should keep him as a monster but have him do insanely bizarre hilarious things like setting a BBQ on fire and chasing after Zack Ryder in an ambulance. Or tombstoning a priest and setting JR on fire.

They should use him as a parody of a really bad horror movie but he should still be serious in the ring. This is the best way to use Kane.

Not liking kanes current role, however funny thing is if kane was maineventing now people would be moaning about how he should move over for the younger guys to come through. It's called irony and double standards.

100 percent agree. Every time Kane gets a big push or is in a big time fued I see people on here bitching and somewhat turning on him.... Makes no sense at all.

To be honest, Kane deserves massive props for the weird gimmicks and jobs he's done. He put people at teh expense of his own reputation, this guy could be on the Undertaker's level right now, but he chose to help out other people instead.

His matches are somewhat repetitive, but when you're a big guy with the longevity he has had, of course that's going to happen.

Team Friendship has, for the majority of it's existence, been one of the funnier things WWE has done in the past few years. Only recently has it really begun to grow old, and it hardly matters as they're probably about to have a feud for Wrestlemania anyway. One of the few that would be actually built up to, I might add.

Kane's been stuck in his yearly bad storyline. At the start of the year when he first returned with the mask and at the start of the "give in to your hatred" storyline with Cena he actually looked like his old self in some ways, and that feud could've been really good. Instead they made Kane look like a joke alongside Zach Ryder at the same time.

Anyway, the point is Kane always goes through these cycles and he'll probably be a monster heel again soon. He's decent in the ring, decent on the mic, plays all of his roles well, has never had any issues backstage and is always willing to put others over at his own expense. On a list of people who need to leave, Kane's pretty far down there.

What if Kane do something similar to "embrace the hate" with Orton, only that it works, and Orton burries him alive. Then Kane comes back and is Monster bad ass again. i would mark so hard.

Well, have you noticed how kane moves around the ring? Notice how he never straightens his knees anymore? notice how he cant stand up straight for very long anymore?

I used to work with his wife, Glen(kane) is a wreck, and has been for a while now...Lots of surgeries he has put off, lots of bone chips in his joints, and not to mention the guy has had a rough career on his body...

What I am getting at is that he honestly wont be around as an on screen character much longer, and he knows it...When he came back with his mask, he kind of made the mental choice that this would be his one last big run. Similar to the Undertaker, he is just getting too old. Even tonight they are working to a WM match between him and Bryan, which may lead to a final storyline with Kane, and his departure from in ring action.

Sad but true, he is one of my all time favorites...oh and he has done stupid shit his whole career lol, Katty Vick anyone?

I'm going to be a contrarian here and say that I much prefer comedy Kane to big evil monster heel Kane. He's genuinely funny, and when he's playing Odd Couple with Bryan, you can really get a good sense of the genial fellow under the mask. I like it.
