Yes thats right, I am talking about the character when Punk sat in a contract signing against Cena, and verbally destroyed The Rock during a promo - oh and owning Triple H with a classic line of ' My movie went straight to DVD, just like yours '.

If we could of had that 2011 Punk vs Rock, I honestly could not see Punk losing. His character didn't give a sh*t, and he was up for a fight. As a heel I dont feel this is the real Punk, compared to him at the anti-authority figure. If we had 2011 Punk, we wouldnt have to see Punk running away or him attacking the WWE universe again and again and again and again.

Punk vs Rock in 2011 - great, but don't feel his current character came off interesting against Rock.

Not really, Punk's momentum at that time was ruined by putting him against another extremely over part-time face in HHH, I don't see how it would be any different with Rock. The current Punk is a more suitable character to face him even though the 2011 Punk is better.
