I actually was fine with him up until 2008/2009ish, when he killed off Orton's momentum on the I Quit match.

This year is going to be awful for the looks of it too, since it seems to be a Cena year.

hated him since day one, as have many many others, I dont buy all these people saying he was good as thuganomics then went crap when he became champ. He was blasted for being a cheesy fake ott eminem parody at the time by most

Never was a fan.. but started hating him right after he was drafted to Raw and turned into a SuperCena beating guys like Jericho, Kurt Angle and Triple H like they were nothing.

Started to absolutely despise him in 2008-2010.

Couldnt stand him in 2011.

After him saying WM 28 is the biggest match bla bla bla and then Rock defeated him and the way he reacted to that...... I just dont care about him anymore. The man is a joke.

Was at this show. Cena was the most over of the night, with the possible exception of Eddie/Rey, its been a while, but he was, like you said mutually beloved (and Bradshaw got plenty of heat, which helped)

Same also, By 2010 I was starting to see the deoriation in his character. Didn't realyl get the hate about him burying legends. That's how you build a new star for gods sake. The IWC contradict themselves. They want legends to put young guys over but complain if a young guy who Cena was at that time, did it too much.

The crowd turned on him by the end of 2005. It was that match against Jericho and Kurt Angle? The crowd wasn't behind Cena at all.

By 2006 the crowd had enough of him because Cena was just too predictable at that point.
I actually liked Cena in 2006, he had good promos with Edge and Lita. He was still 'Hustle Loyalty Respect' but at least he was still tough.. unlike now he's a complete goof.

I've always been a huge fan of Cena's in-ring work (storytelling not technique) but his promotional work is unbearable. I would say people turned on him in 2006.
