Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but did Austin or Hogan every try to be above the WWF/E Championship? It always seemed to me that they wanted to be champion during their feuds. I could be wrong. I say this because I get that feeling with Cena especially when Punk was champ. I know a lot of it was the writing but trying to make Cena seem better than the Champ was awful IMO.
"So let me get this straight..The WWE , has gone from, the powerfull Austin 3:16, to the dominant, and iconic, Can ya Smell what The Rock is Cooking! Allll the way to...U cant C me?!
Johnny Cena went to town riding on a pony.Rock stuck a feather up his ass and called him a jabroni!
This smells like fear, Fruity Pebbles, and possum piss!"
Every single thing you're doing right now in the wwe john , going to every show , The Rock has already done it . Every single thing you're thinking about doing , outside of the wwe , The Rock has already done it , as a matter of fact The Rock has done it better! The Rock
I took a looong break from wrestling, probably 02-10 roughly, so my hate for Cena started late. In fact i don't think I "hated" him until the I quit match he beat the Miz... essentially a handicap match where he was beaten badly for the entire match then got bored and decided to win. My thoughts before/during the match was how was the Miz going to possibly lose? would we see an Alex Riley turn? but no, he just won, because he got bored of saying no when asked if he was quitting, which btw seemed like the most annoying refusals to quit ever, no pain in his voice at all, just a dull annoyance at having to be on the defence against the miz.
