I was just watching ESPN's OTL "Outside the line" showcasing a former 49er who won a superbowl ring during his years in the NFL, I'll cut the story short, he was forced to retire, memory loss, brain issues, etc. People complain about how the NFL is a brutal sport because of the contact,etc. But with all honestly it's no where near the level of pain of pro wrestlers have to Indore each week with there brutal schedule.

But anyways.. What if John Cena was forced to retire after Wrestlemania this year because he wouldn't allow his body to take breaks? Here's another question, let's say Johnny boy didn't retire and continued to compete for another 10+ years full time, What will happen to this guy? What will POST WWE CENA era be like?

If I was Cena, I wouldn't re-sign a long term contract. Health is #1

Cena can end up being just fine, its kind of funny, while its brutal it was MORE brutal back in the day

some guys even have where they get hurt and retire they STILL get paid, some up to a decade after words

and if Cena was smart with money he would have enough

if anything he would end up like edge

and then the "he was awesome syndrom" would start and every one will talk how great it was when he still wrestler

If had to retire, ideally they would have to have to build a new top guy in the company. But in reality what I think would happen, would be HHH and a bunch of the old guys would get pushes etc.

Wrestling survived just fine without Hogan. It will survive just fine without Cena. A new person will always come up and replace.

Wasnt there a thread about John Cena being the next tragedy and the op brought up Benoit? Why do ppl come up with ways to have Cena gone. He isnt that bad for the most part.

But if Cena was forced to retire someone else would step up. You see how over a no talent like Ryback is. Vince or HHH would push someone until they are over and sell tons of merch.
