Orton has been complete shit since 2008, he can stay in the mid card until he turns heel.

really? ..REALLY??

nothin about the viper says midcard
Really? Who? Ryback? Shaemus? I'd rather see Orton than those two.

In my opinion, I think it's pretty obvious Orton can slot right back into the main event whenever he wants. He's got the ring skills and the overness to mandate such a move.

He's been putting on some of the best matches in the E as of late, and he's complete shit? I don't follow.

Yes, he's in the midcard. That's why he keeps having matches with the midcard champs etc. Slater is below midcard level as 3MB are just a band jobbers.

And I never in my life thought you would create another thread to talk about how amazing Randy Orton is and how he deserves better, yet here we are... funny old world...

Orton is above the midcard. He's BEATEN the midcard champs but shows no interest in going after their belts.

To be above the midcard you need to be featured above the midcard. Orton is not, he's stuck with having matches with the midcard guys without direction. The only recent chance he had to get into a more high profile feud was to be one of those going against The Shield, but it fell on Cena, Ryback and Sheamus.

Vince saw Orton when Orton was about 22 and said...

"This is the guy I'm riding for the next 20 years. He's gonna make me a billion dollars."

WWE but the McMahons in particular saw Orton and thought "A level, top tier guy, maybe top guy in the company, for the next 20 years."

Did Vince, Steph and Shane force Orton to drink and smoke pot backstage? Get a shoulder or arm injury yearly? Develop a reputation as a petulant, arrogant, hostile and entitled co-worker? Or test positive for steroids twice? Did Vinny Mac force Mexican roid pills down his throat on tour?

Orton screwed Orton. If Vince had his druthers, what he really wanted all along from the beginning, Orton would be where Cena is now and Cena might not even be in the company anymore. Orton screwed Orton. He was handed this company for 20 years and he blew it.
