what I'd made with him would be this:

1-get him off TV. "fired" or whatever

2-send him to boxing classes

3-contact Kimbo Slice and offer him money to organize half dozen backyard fights, presented by him. Barrett vs bums with no skill, pay them to take a dive, just in case. make him wear jeans like when he came back. put it on youtube.

4-comes back after some months, with a real gimmick, well same gimmick but not half assed. half gentleman, half hooligan. like a mixture of Vinnie jones and James Bond.

yes,I know it's another stereotype but it's better than what he is now I think. someone who gets paid for this should have come with something better.

Well wasn't he in the process of getting music from manic street preachers?

My intial thoughts on Barrett?..He's sexy as hell... But seriously, he has tons of potential. I look for him to a legit to top star in the next year or two. WWE just have to keep building him up, and putting him in good positions to succeed.

He should scrap the street fighter. It could have been good and WWE promoted it, but they barely gave him time to show it off.

He should try out a Bond villain character. Eccentric, wealthy, bodyguard or crony, and a badass.

He's got all the tools, and we know management trusts him. However, there are just a couple of things I'm begging him to tweak if they're going to make this work:

1. The "I just don't care anymore" theme has got to go, it doesn't work at all for Barrett. I always think somebody like Heath Slater is coming out when that theme hits, and every time I'm confused when it's Barrett. Plain and simple, the theme is a disaster.

2. Bull hammer is just about the worst finisher I've ever seen... God knows why he's choosing to do that over Wasteland, he should use it. He needs a powerslam or some variation of the Dominator where he falls forward rather than see him do that elbow.

I've been really high on Barrett the last couple of years, I really thought he would be main event level by now (then big show happened).
However, since he's returned, I dunno, I guess I was expecting continual improvement from him, in-ring and mic-wise. Skill-wise he seems to be plateauing .

He should be steadily improving at this point in his wrestling career, as far as his in-ring skills and mic skills go. He's leveled-off. Luckily, for him Vince gets boners for guys who look like him. So, Wade will likely have at least a few more opportunities thrown his way.

I really, really do not like Barrett's entrance music and theme. It is terrible imo.
