The fact that somebody good like Barrett jobbed to Bo Dallas makes me sick.
I second that.
Bo Dallas is awful.

They really missed the boat with Wade. The guy and Nexus as a whole were red hot and should have gone over Cena at TLC. Actually scratch that, they should've had Cena take off time when he was forced to leave RAW or something, not come back the following night taking them all out single-handedly. No, they messed up. Barrett should've won the title and run amok on RAW forcing Cena to gather up the super friends and his arch-enemies to work together and bring down Nexus. Instead... well, we got what we got. Wade being symbolically buried under all those chairs at TLC was pretty funny actually.
But no, it didn't stop there. Nexus were dragged out with Genesis or whatever that second group was called but really nobody cared at that point: you don't go from head of the show to a second-rate feud with another clan. And predictably not a single person from Nexus or Corre ever did anything with themselves due to nobody ever given an individual personality: which wasn't a bad thing at the time as it fit with the group's gimmick but at the very least Wade should've gone over big and in the end nothing changed and nothing was accomplished.
Then Wade wallows around the barren wasteland of WWE's midcard hell, doing and accomplishing almost nothing. Now he's got nothing left. His current character is awful and pretty much non-existent. At least let him come out with the rose and cloak and whatnot he had on NXT. He's decent in the ring and very good on the mic but now it seems he's been pushed to the side, which is unfortunate but needed, least until they repackage him and build him up from scratch again.
Honestly I don't know what is going on with Wade Barrett but it seems as though they don't intend on making him look like a credible threat because he wins matches like 1 out of 6 matches these days. When was the last time he even got a victory? That match with Orton a month ago? My problem is why did WWE suddenly decided to have Barrett go over Kingston winning the IC Championship and then do nothing with this title reign. Our IC Champion looks very weak and should really drop the title at this point because this reign is hurting the prestige of the IC title. Its strange how Antonio Cesaro spent less time in WWE than Barrett did and looks far more credible than Barrett could ever hope to be at this point.
It's not enough to lose matches weekly but to have him lose to Bo Dallas is a travesty that will certainly hurt Barrett's credibility for awhile. If Bo Dallas ends up taking the title off of Barrett I feel that Barrett will almost most certianly drop to the lower midcard. Hopefully Christian gets back soon enough and be the one to win the IC title off of Barrett to restore prestige to the title.

Nothing is wrong with Wade Barrett but something is wrong with Paul Levasque and Stephanie for not pushing him and letting Sheamus run fucking wild like he's some kind of a star.

I've given up all hope in any Barrett success. He's been jobbed out to Bo Dallas. He's not going to recover from that. After he loses the IC Title, at best he'll be a jobber to the stars, which he's essentially now, with his loss to Bo Dallas taking him into just plain jobber. It's unfortunate WWE have taken such a talent, a man who can work the mic and get a ton of heat, and instead push to death Del Rio and Sheamus, guys who right now only have in-ring work over Barrett, and in Sheamus' case maybe charisma, but couldn't amount to anything as heels in the heat or mic department like Barrett did, and only started getting real reactions when they turned face.
But it is what it is. If Barrett ends up getting released before the end of the year, that wouldn't surprise me either. I can only hope WWE doesn't make the same mistakes with Sandow they've made with Barrett, but even then I think Sandow is one of the few talents right now who are above Barrett on the mic, not to mention having an interesting character and being a good in-ring worker, so I have more faith they'll do the right things with Sandow.

I'm honestly surprised that Hunter isn't high on him. Was he ever high on Barrett or no? Something tells me that Hunter would love a guy like him.
I remember HHH mentioning him somewhere in the vein of promising young talent, but can't remember when or where.

He claims he is high on Barrett, he mentioned him by name along with Sheamus as a huge future star on a radio interview that I'm sure is still up on Youtube, but he's either lying or Vince just keeps overruling him on Barrett. Neither would honestly surprise me.
