I thought in places he sonded like a mixture between Bane and Yoda.

Maddox was great tonight and has far better mic skills and promo skills than 95% of the roster. He reminds me of natural mic guys like Punk and Jericho who just seem to know what to say when to say it and how to say it (no im not saying he is as good as them by a long shot, but he does have some mic skills). Im sure the crowd would give him bigger reactions either as face or heel if he was a major part of a story line rather than an after thought. Shame is the has a 1% of making it as a wrestler so who knows whether he is been groomed as a new manager or commentator.

Strange thing is that was one of the best promos on the show tonight and thats coming from a guy who isn't really a first thought part of any story line, nor is he a referee/wrestler/commentator or manager.

I think the reason HHH is so high on him is because they have created a new role/character that I dont recall seeing before (please correct me if im wrong). A fame hungry fanboy rookie who is managing to insert himself in big moments. After this whole The Shield, Paul Heyman and CM Punk story line blows over im not really sure where he fits.

Are you his manager?

I do like the guy, but I just think him as a singles competitor is his way to fading away to obscurity and future endeavoured . In the role he is in now he has a much bigger chance of making a lasting impact on the WWE.
Just think how many guys on the roster there are now and on NXT that dont get any air time and are likely to never feature in even the mid card. Im not a guy concerned with size but Maddox looks like a guy walking down the street and is no bigger than Evan Bourne and Tyson Kidd (I assume).
