Re: Brock Lesnar vs The Miz?!
I agree that a Lesnar/Miz feud needs to happen.
Miz needs to point out how Lesnar left and now WWE holds everyone back to keep them from leaving for greener pastures after getting pushed to the moon. Lesnar's departure "ruined it for everyone else" and now decides to come back and run roughshod over the company.
"Brock Lesnar, you were handed everything in two years, and then you walked out. Not once did you ever acknowledge us. You didn't even bother to show your face during the infamous "Guest Host Era". At least The Rock had decency to show up via satellite! Because of you Brock Lesnar, they dangle opportunities in front of us, and then snatch them away. Because of you, they test our loyalty to make sure we don't walk out like Brock Lesnar did. I tried to help my best friend Alex Riley and guide him to the top, but because WWE feared that he'd "become another Brock Lesnar", they let him drop off the radar even though the WWE Universe blows the roof off every time he comes through that curtain. Because of you, my good friend Zack Ryder makes an ass out of himself in more and more ridiculous ways just to desperately cling to what little relevance WWE ALLOWS him to have. Because of you, John Cena was forced to carry the weight of this entire company on his shoulders by himself to the point where the fans began to resent him for it. But no more. I'm going to fix everything. I want YOU at the biggest stage of all, WrestleMania. Win or lose, I'm going to make everything right."
Lesnar laughs it off, but accepts because he'd rather squash a jobber, "get it over with", and get paid instead of facing a top star, having a 20-30 minute match, and thus having to be in a WWE ring "longer than necessary".
"This is gonna be your biggest payday ever, kid. And it's also gonna be your last."
Miz is scared, but he doesn't back down. We see vignettes over the next few weeks of him training in MMA so that he can be better prepared for Lesnar's onslaught.
When the match happens, Miz gets dominated. Every time he kicks out of a pin attempt, Lesnar complains and yells "Just stay down so I can go home!!" Lesnar finally locks in the Kimura and Miz passes out from the pain.
Lesnar refuses to let go of the hold. A bunch of faces, and some heels run out: Kofi, R-Truth, Ryder, Christian, Cody, Riley, Santino, Drew McIntyre: all victims of post-Lesnar yo-yo booking. Brock beckons them all to come hither and fight, but they gang up on him, symbolically lynching the outsider, and all of them hit their finishers,. Santino gives him the Cobra to the Diverticulitis. A humiliated Brock retreats until the next time he's needed
The whole undercard helps Miz up, and carries him backstage like a martyr.
