Re: Did Cena's promo make any sense on Raw?

I thought he meant that in all likelihood Punk or Rock would be champion, just because they're above everyone else, but that's when I thought there would be a six-man chamber match for the belt. Yep, Cena revealed it by mistake (even if the writers screwed up the order, Cena should've caught it).

I swear I'm a Cena defender, I've never been a fan but I've always respected the guy for how GREAT he is. But the last two weeks have to be some of the worst promos I've ever seen in my 13 yrs of watching wrestling. No idea what's going on with him. Maybe he just doesn't know what story he's telling cuz he doesn't have an actual opponent to target, so all he can do is be vaguely enthusiastic about the Rumble/Mania/WWE Title. He can't say its about overcoming Punk or Rock, cuz he doesn't know yet. Either way, g-d damn the last two promos have been horrible. When he made fun of the fat guy in the front row last wk, I was CONVINCED he was turning heel. 90% of the matches between two major good guys result in heel turns, so I'm beginning to wonder if Cena will turn heel at Rock/Cena II.

WWE favorites: Punk, Sheamus, Lesnar, Ambrose, Rollins, Reigns,
Del Rio, Orton, Bryan, Ziggler, Wyatt, Usos, Cesaro, Mysterio, Kane
DGPW: Doi, Yoshino, Tozawa, Yamato, Dragon Kid, BxB Hulk, Ricochet, Super Shisa
NJPW: Okada, Nakamura, Styles ROH: Briscoes, Fish and O'Reilly, Young Bucks
All-Time: Rock, Punk, Lesnar, Angle

Re: Did Cena's promo make any sense on Raw?

Who says there will be a EC match for the WH title? Kayfabe wise its possible that they know there wont be.

More so, its also possible that Cena was talking who he felt was going to win, just like how Punk talked like he would face berat rock on the rumble and go on

to put short, Cena thinkgs Rock and Punk are better then evrey one else and so will hold the title.

Just like Rock when he anounced it, he metioned who ever is the champ, be it punk or CENA he would face the

Cena promos suck...ALL THE TIME!! Why did he even mention the world heavyweight championship if everyone knows he is always going to be going for the WWE Title

What bugged me the most was his complete dismissal of the WHC which was completely unnecessary.

John Cena putting on clinics on how not to do a promo. Enjoy it now before it gets worse.

I found it more laughable when he talked about how upset he was about losing to the Rock and how he never got over it. We are suppose to believe this when the following night he came out all with nothing but smiles and not a care in the world? Trying to sell that 10 months later is abit too late.

He wasn't all smiles. Yeah, he smiled, but he was pretty g-d damn disappointed. Professional wrestlers don't complain about a loss constantly, you move on and promote the next feud, simple as that. If wrestlers did that, half the wrestlers and half the matches would be crap. Its not the UFC, there can't be matches with "two guys trying to rebound" and prove they're good; all the competitors are supposed to be good. He doesn't need to repeat the most important wrestling result in years, we all remember. Now that he's looking directly at a rematch, he'll mention it again, cuz its promoting the next big match.

They honestly might have messed up the sequence, because I remember them saying The Rock was coming out next........Then when they came back it was more matches. And this was before Cena came out, I thought I was trippin at first but I have it on DVR and they definitely said he was coming out next before it went to commercial.
