Yeah, sounds like Ziggler indeed. Outside of selling, I have yet to see any quality merit he possesses.

Dolph Ziggler has a lot of potential to be a pretty good heel character. As others have noted, he is a great bumper, average seller, has charisma, and is a good worker.

However, he needs to improve in several areas and that's why it was probably decided to pair him back up with Chris Jericho.

His "Show Off" gimmick needs some polishing and I expect Jericho to help Ziggler improve more than just shaking his ass and slicking back his hair and throwing sweat at an opponent. His taunts need to generate heat with the crowd and I hope he is able to figure something out that does that because right now his taunts are fairly bland. Jericho use to do his "Come on baby!" standing flex pin and while I'm not saying Dolph should copy that, he should think along those lines to develop something that is unique to his character.

His mic skills are also lacking and it really feels like he is going through generic heel tactics when speaking and is not putting any unique spin on his character, he really lacks a voice for his character that embodies the "Show Off" moniker.

I'm hoping Dolph Ziggler really buys into this rivalry with Jericho over the next couple months and learns as much as possible from him, he'll be a much more rounded wrestler if he does.

Watch on YouTube The Rockers vs Rougeau Brothers in London Part 1, and watch The Original Show Off Jacques Rougeau display charisma and ability to draw heat from the crowd
without even using one wrestling hold. Ziggler isn't even in the same solar system.

Let me get this straight, you are a Jeff Hardy fan but you say Dolph Ziggler sucks on the mic? Please tell me more about your unbeatable mic skills knowledge.

I swear, I never brought up Jeff Hardy once but you feel like you should because he's my favorite...I know Jeff Hardy isn't anything great on the mic but at least I fucking know and admit it. I only wanted to say Ziggler isn't GREAT on the mic. Otherwise he's passable with obvious flaws but don't go around OVERRATING his mic work saying it's damn good, great, amazing, whatever word you want to say. & by the way, Jeff Hardy's mic work as a heel was better than roughly 80% of what Ziggler has produced in his entire heel run which has been his whole career. Zigglers had one promo that stands out, and that was his TLC promo where he was on a ladder. I admit that was good. Does that alone make him GREAT? Absolutely not

For the record I'm a Ziggler fan. I just don't agree with some of the overrating. 2 years ago he was UNDERRATED, because his mic skill was above pure shit which people labeled it. He's still above shit, but he hasn't been good enough to have his mic work called good or great consistently

Get over yourself, man. I think he's great on the mic. Like I said, it's my opinion and I'll throw it out there.

Ok, whatever. You go ahead and think that. Your opinion. But I'm here to disagree because you shouldn't use the word great on a guy like him. Someone like Sandow is great (just to use an example from todays roster)

I don’t know why someone said that the poster should lose all credibility by comparing Ziggler to Tyson Kidd. Like Dolph Ziggler is in another realm than him or something when he is nothing but mid-card material just like Tyson. In fact, give me Tyson Kidd over Ziggler’s boring ass any day of the week.
