Honestly, he really should. They were great together during Nxt but back then they were both heels, I think now though that Jericho could easily be a face and challenge Barrett for the IC but Barrett should retain, he really needs more competition as opposed to facing Orton and Sheamus over and over and never really feuding with them.

Agreed. Have Jericho finish up with Ziggler by EC. Barrett/Jericho for the IC Title going into Mania with Barrett going over.

I agree, going over Jericho in a feud over the IC Title would be fantastic for both Barrett and the Title, good idea. I'll give you a bit of advice though as a long time Barrett fan myself... Don't hold your breath. Knowing the way they treat Barrett he'll drop the IC Title on an episode of Main Event to Bo fuckin' Dallas.

Well I think wwe isn't too high on Barrett anymore... Ever since his return he's been booked terribly... So idk. Hope I'm wrong.

I like Jericho, but him losing to a lot of people I don't think ends up making anyone a star. I think people are using the term "putting someone over" in the wrong sense. For example, does Santino Marella put people over when he gets pinned?

A Jericho vs Barrett feud does have potential to be interesting, but they gotta give Jericho some sort of momentum so his matches mean something. Him just going in and losing to Barrett won't make Barrett any more of a star by itself.

The guy already has the belt and recently beat Orton clean but still comes out to crickets chirping. I'm not sure anyone can truly put him over at this point.
