That means nothing. Hogan is the most well known name associated with professional wrestling. When he turned bad, everyone knew it was a big deal because even non-fans of wrestling had always known he was a "good guy". People have the idea that Cena could never turn heel are wrong. If ratings continue to decline, the WWE may have no choice, but to do so. You can't allow your hatred of his face character to cloud the notion that he could turn "heel" in the near future.

Hogan was suppose to be a good guy, they pushed that down their throats and they didn't acknowledge that he was getting booed during 96 cause people were sick of it.

Cena is suppose to be a good guy, 50/50 crowd boos and cheers, they ACKNOWLEDGE that. Hence, it doesn't matter if he's getting booed in New York City or cheered in some redneck town, Cena is not a face, or a heel, he's just Cena. The fact that they acknowledge that tells you that they don't have to turn him into anything.
