Not really. I wasn't a fan of their first match. The build up was terrible and the Rock gassed out within the first ten minutes of the match. They didn't have any chemistry.

If the payoff is to have Cena turn heel then I'm all for it. That would change the landscape of the WWE.

...Would we really want Ryback as the new #1 face of company? That is the question... he has no mic skills. I would rather have Miz as the new #1 underdog face but he has to cut the very corny promos.

Websters Dictionary definition
Super Cena (n):

1. To mislead the audience that the character is an underdog. John Cena got DDT'd on the concrete, hit in the back with a chair, then put thru the Spanish announce table. However, all is that is for naught because he switched into Super Cena and no sold all of that, to win the match. (credit: Scott Trahan)

2. Humiliated more than three forths of the match only to come back and win with five moves of doom. Super Cena emerged from the ashes and won the fight after being brutally beaten down to a bloody pulp

3. Alter ego of a Superhero. Unstoppable. Exception: See The Rock.

Not one single bit, give me the rematch between Rock and Brock..... thankfully I'm pretty sure that is what we are getting.

And again you seem to choose to focus on the irrelevant part of the point. It's not about that Cena doesn't get much out of it, it's about that WWE these days just don't have as many stars as they used to and it's because of their booking. Cena has already had a moment with The Rock and they've gotten their big payday out of that. The smart thing now would be to try to elevate someone else to stardom.

Your comparison with Rock fighting Hogan just shows that you don't get the point. The Rock wasn't a guy carrying the brand on his own. They had Austin, HHH, Taker, Angle, Jericho etc on that card and they were all active full time (although Austin would of course be changing that).

Guys like Jericho and Angle are no more relevant than Sheamus and Orton. MNW's inflated talent across the board but there's no recreating that.

This is what it comes down to. Like it or lump it John Cena is going to be the guy ushering in the new era and creating the new stars. Rock's here to cement Cena's status.

Hell no. Rock & Cena don't mesh together well at all and the build up and match were both underwhelming.

Cena's status is already cemented. He's already had a match with Rock at WM, and he's had one with Lesnar as well. This booking would have made sense if they had more to bring, and they are fooling themselves into thinking they have since they throw a bunch of other part-timers on there.

My personal opinion why I don't want to see it is something entirely different, which is that the last feud just didn't click for me. They couldn't bring the same intensity in months as Punk and Rock brought in a couple of weeks.

I'm not going to say I'm looking forward to it, but the handcuffs are removed this time around. It doesn't have to be a promo fest.

If I were you I would be not expect that. Rock doesn't "hate" John Cena the way he does CM Punk and the other way around. I can see it being a little more personal because the WWE Championship is involved but I would still believe it would be a promo fest.

I don't think it's possible for someone to be less interested in something than I am with this.
