Jericho beat Austin and Rock, and not clean either right? He wasn't the 1st guy to beat Hogan.

Your scenario doesn't apply and John Cena has put plenty of guys over. Like Austin it's rarely clean.

Of course he's already his moments, but a moment like Rock's return can only be done by the face of the company.

WWE and Cena were smart enough to give Rock his night, but Cena is gonna get his as well so just accept it. Just go back to 2008 when Cena 1st started calling out the Rock. This is what they envisioned the entire time.

Well if they think the fans will care about him winning there wrong. The only way people would care about the rematch would be if Cena turned heel which is never going to happen. People are going to shit on this match or they will give it no reaction at all because why should people watch someone like Cena beat The Rock when they are just going to do the same old shit with him?

This explains everything I dislike about John Cena.

People sh** on Cena no matter what he does. They don't care what you think about him. He's the most profitable guy and has the biggest fan base in the WWE. They'll take your boos. They've taken them for 7 years now.

FTR. Heel turn. Unlikely. Shades of turning. Highly probable. Keep in mind WWE is working backwards nowadays. Everyone has Cena v Taker penciled in and that's the likely turning point. Don't be surprised to see some gray in Cena during Rock v Cena 2.

The issue isn't that Jericho didn't win cleanly (that's completely insignificant compared to what he won), it's that he was given one of those huge moments despite that he was a lesser star. The big point was of course that they could make Jericho much bigger while guys like Rock and Austin didn't need it (that they screwed it up by writing his story very poorly afterwards is another matter).

Becoming the first undisputed champ is just one of those things that, in line with your reasoning, would be "Cena's moment".

Cena just doesn't need to beat the Rock. He'll not get much more out of that as he's already had a huge moment fighting The Rock in the WM main event. He might even gain less from that than losing to The Rock since the full time top face will likely get booed out of the building when he wins. This match is just one example though as the point is a general one.

Bottom Line for me I just don't want to see this because I don't want to see another feud between The Rock & John Cena were all they are doing is trading insults that hope to be trending on twitter and if they don't start to take John Cena in a different direction after this match then all beating The Rock does for Cena is add another notch to his belt which in the bigger picture it a waste since the guy that is going to follow John Cena is most likely not even employed by WWE right now.

Definitely do not want to see it again. It should be kept as once in a lifetime and I have no desire to see them feud again.

I just hope Punk retains tonight and hopefully Undertaker winning the Rumble would be great. Let Rock work with Lesnar or something.

Thank You Punk.
