Re: Tell me, does anyone here really want to see Rock vs Cena again?
only way I would be okay with this is if Cena turns heel and that's not going to happen

Now as far as booking Cena has he should in your option Cena had his run as the unstoppable babyface in 2006-2007. In 2012-2013 there is no reason John Cena should still be unstoppable you add that to how guys come out of feuds with him looking like shit and it would make the show very hard to watch. But like I said this most likely this is going to be trilogy which is why The Rock won the first match. As far as it not happening in 2011 I think that was WWE's call they wanted to hype a main event match a year out before it happened.

You book Cena to look strong so when somebody beats him it looks big. Unfortunately, the first clean lost Cena had at Wrestlemania was against The Rock. Not a young talent, not the next face, but a person who's a mega-star.

Keep it special as it was built as once in a lifetime. I wouldn't be interested in seeing that match again.

This is incorrect.
It has been stated many times that Vince McMahon choose not to resign The Rock. That is why he left.

Re: Tell me, does anyone here really want to see Rock vs Cena again?
I don't want to see Cena period. Therefore no, I don't want to see Rock vs. Cena 2. Unfortunately WWE has done a great job of making Cena the only star (apart from Punk) and demoting guys like Orton (his fault though)that there really isn't anyone who can be on a Rock level besides returning guys like Lesnar and or Taker. And with his very sporadic appearances I don't think Rock will be wasted on putting guys like Sheamus, Barrett, Cesaro, Bryan or Ziggler over...

That one lost does not take away from the fact that he is pretty much the only star on the show. No one current WWE star is on his level. Before Rock the last person to beat Cena clean was Triple H in 2009 before he faced Randy Orton at Bragging Rights.

Agreed,
I even heard it went so far as Rock pitching a match against either HBK or Randy Savage at Wresltemania 21, but and refused to sign him to a new contract.
From what I gather they wanted him to fail in Hollywood and come crawling back to them a couple of years later.
Joke was on them.

Nobody would have though less of him since he lost to a guy who's been booked like superman for the last eight years. It's not like he would have lost to a jobber like Yoshi Tatsu, he lost to John Cena. Hell, Hogan lost to Rock at Wrestlemania 18 and he won the WWE Championship a month later.
The only other time I can think of WWE putting over a wrestler from the past era over the previous era in a big time match was Hogan beating Randy Orton. And, well all know Hogan's ego, so that's not a shock.

Everybody gets that you want your favorite John Cena to beat The Rock, but nobody cares.
No, the match should not happen again. It would create an overall negative backlash for all parties if Cena went over Rock at WM.
