You can say once in a lifetime for a lot of matches, but almost no one wrestles the same guy only once in their career with the exception of Goldberg vs Brock since Goldberg retired after that match.
Cena has to up his game for anyone to even want to see this match happen again. The first one wasn't that good and if he does not sell the fact that beating The Rock is the key to getting over the rough year he has had I could see Cena hate reaching a new level if they still want him to shoot on The Rock in hopes of selling him as being his equal.

Do people still think this? Have you ever heard of a man in The Rock's physical condition, an ex-wrestler, football player and bodybuilder get out of breath after 15 mins of exercise.

Its called selling, Rock has always been epic at selling.

Re: Tell me, does anyone here really want to see Rock vs Cena again?

Rock/Cena is the right match for WM, silly IWC be damned. I just hope it's better than last time. Rock looked gassed pretty early on.

Honestly, my lame fantasy booking for Mania is job Rock to Cena, job Taker to Punk, and job Brock to Sheamus, step aside Triple H ego, step aside over the hill Taker, step aside b-list movie star. Maybe you actually give Sheamus a real rub as opposed to the backfire the 18 seconds provided last year (plus, I remember some good stiff matches he had with Lord Tensai on tv several times). I think he'd work well with Brock. If you want to really heel Punk up, have him end the streak, and it'd create a new chapter for Cena/Punk coming out of Mania.

Hell No! The build to the first match was horrible. Anything Cena touches turns to shit. I hope they donot waste Rock on that good for nothing so called Face of the company again. Cena will never be another Hogan, Austin or Rock no matter if he beats Rock or not.

I cant think of going through Cena/Rock again just because Cena needs a win in return for WM 28.

In short:

THE REBEL

Well I can live with them never facing each other EVER again. Cena's character will never change and he lost so let's move on and use the Rock in more money making matches like facing Brock or Taker.

Re: Tell me, does anyone here really want to see Rock vs Cena again?

I don't mean to be that guy but the only reason this match needs to happen is if either guy turned heel during the match.

At this point, can the Rock even be a heel? Would it even matter if he was a heel, given he shows up 4-5 times a year?

So my point is, John Cena has to turn heel or this match won't be anything, the Monday after Wrestlemania. (Not that the first one ment much more, the following Monday)

Cena is never playing a heel again in his life what he is now is what he going to remain until WWE HAS NO OTHER OPTION but to find someone to take his spot. I could see him at age 38 or 39 still doing what he does not still on a full time schedule. Utill John Cena being a face because a major issue in the company WWE will just continue to feed him and he will continue no-sell whoever he works with.

Rock v. Cena II

or, Rock (laying on the ground winded, while...) Cena (...tries in vain to have a passable match around him) II

There's no way Rock could handle the Brock match that Cena wrestled. And if you aren't going to let Brock wrestle that style, what's the point? Fact is, neither Triple H or Rock are as good at wrestling as Cena is at this point, meaning that match Cena had with Brock post-Mania will be the only good Brock match that happened/happens (as we're being force fed a Brock/Triple H rematch at Mania, sadly).

There's no storyline logic for Rock/Taker or Rock/Brock. He came back to win the Title after 10 years. That's a mission statement he laid out. He isn't chasing the streak or wanting to get involved with Brock for a undercard grudge match.

There's always a rematch. Cena/Rock is happening and it's the right thing for business.
