Ok, whatever. You keep being a blind mark for the Streak, there's obviously no getting through to you but the fact is, by definition, there can only be one main event, just like there can only be one Super Bowl. At the end of WrestleMania, John Cena will be center stage and everybody will forget that Punk and Undertaker even happened, and even if they don't, the placement is still insulting to a man who came off a 433 day title reign.

It can't close the show, it's not big enough because Rock and Cena, and Brock and Triple H are there to overshadow it with their matches. And even if it did close, he should still be facing Rock in the main event, not Undertaker, because Undertaker is absolutely nowhere near the Rock's league in star power. There's also no way in hell that Punk walks in to WrestleMania with the title, it's already confirmed that Rock is winning it whether it's at Royal Rumble or Elimination Chamber.

Not as long as Cena is still there. Cena is still going to main event WM most likely so he's still the #1 guy. while I'm sure that Punk will have a high profile match, it'll probably be somewhere along in the mid card.

He may be number one for adults, but WWE is PG, it is product aimed to children and promos like "beat the system" does not work. Kids do not care about reality, they just want their superhero John to beat everyone bad guy, because thats fun for them. Punk gets adults attention, but kids are not satisfied.

Punk never could be the man in this era. I do not know who could. Maybe Ryback i gess. Because he is brainless Superhero who kicks everybodys asses.

This is the truth. We can only call him the No. 1 Heel on the show, and still, managers like Vickie and Heyman still get more heat.

To answer the question however, no. As long as Cena is there Punk nor anybody else will be the number one guy. Cena is THE guy and the only way that changes is through a Cena heel turn. Orton was out-popping him and out-selling him in merchandise for a brief period of time in 2010, he stayed as no.2. Punk was out-popping him and out-selling him in merchandise for a brief period of time in 2011, he stayed as no.2. That's just the way it is. Cena is the top babyface and has that spot on lockdown. Until he moves out of that spot, there isn't room for anybody else. Besides, Punk was playing second and third fiddle to everybody under the sun up until Summerslam ended last year. After that he became the focus of the show and has been promoted as a champion and THE guy on the show. Now he's feuding with Rock as the main program while Cena drifts along without a storyline. That will soon change. We are on the RTWM after all. Cena won't stay aimless forever.
