Thing is, WWE used to take note of crowd reactions. And if a babyface was getting the heat that Cena gets, they would have been turned heel. Cena seems to be exempt from this, which leads me to believe he is a kiss ass backstage.
Let's be honest with ourselves here, the anti-Cena crowd isn't
that big, is it? The 'Let's Go Cena' chants are always much more prevalent and his merchandise is still super popular.
I just don't think that the anti-Cena portion of WWE fans is worth acknowledging.
I mean, why haven't they made their opinions more widely known? Why haven't these fans, if they have such numbers, started a web campaign or some other means of attracting attention if they honestly feel John is such a bad influence on the business?
I understand not liking the man based on his character, I know a lot of you guys love Ziggler - I don't. So yes, I can sympathise. But if so many of you think this way, maybe you should find a way to act on those feelings? Because it's obvious that chanting 'Cena Sucks' isn't doing anything.
All that happens when you chant that is that the commentators say he's 'divisive' or 'polarising'.
I just don't personally feel he's as unpopular as you'd believe.
