Its just a fact that all of you IWC regulars basically hate every wrestler that's popular. Ryback gets a huge reaction from the crowds, and if they did not have him lose to punk in 3 straight retarded ways...he would be even bigger, those loses really derailed him
Put Regal in a shoot match with Goldberg, he shows some decent skills.
Put Regal in a shoot match with Ryback - Regal would own his ass, even if older and overweight than when he was facing Goldberg.

Your opinions don't matter. I am right and everyone one not agreeing with me is a troll, or an idiot.

(Typical poster thought process)

-Unable to cut even a below average promo He's no god on the mic, but he can get his point across during promos with the crowd on his side.

-Unbearably ugly (Literally one of the ugliest people I have ever seen)I know right. How will Ryback win the beauty pageant on next week's Raw?

-From every non-kayfabe interview he's done, he comes off as a massively cocky douche bag. If Ryback wants to be one of the top guys of the company, then he has to be confident about himself. He has to believe that he can become a bigger star than Goldberg, and develop into his own character.

-Lacks any sort of charisma or ability to connect to the crowd without his chant cough*Hell in a Cell*cough

-Clearly a steroid user Your favorite wrestlers also used steroids
Many people on here claim that WWE aren't developing any new talent into stars, and accuse them of putting the same people in the spotlight all the time, when in fact, WWE are trying to invest in the future right now. You guys wanted a new star to step into the spotlight, well Ryback is that guy. He's already close to being one of the top guys in the company, and I don't have a problem with that, especially when he's over with the crowd. Besides Randy Orton and partially Sheamus, Ryback is one of the only guys in the WWE right now who plays the the character of a badass face, and he is nailing it down as far the badass aspect of his character goes. The next step is how can Ryback evolve his character? That's were mic skills, in ring skills, and booking comes into play.

He hasn't focused at all on how Punk beat Ryback in those matches, which is understandable since what The Rock is doing is a much better story line where both guys get hyped going into the match.

And Punk hasn't been constantly cheating until Ryback came along. When he had his feud with Cena as a heel he was kicking out of finishers more than once per match and really taking him to his limits (the tally was one draw and one clean win in the triple threat). Also note how his first match during the Rock feud had Punk make his opponent tap out cleanly, just because this is a different kind of story where Punk again isn't completely without competence. And even when he did cheat, like against Sheamus on Main Event, he did it on his own by being smart in the ring and not by not being able to do anything on his own like with Ryback.

So the Ryback feud stands out in how Punk was booked. For me it does in a very negative way.
He's a bad guy. If Punk gets a clean win over a main eventer, it would make him a monster heel like Big Show or Mark Henry (or Brock Lesnar yrs ago). Cheating is what villains do. He's a villain. They try to get us to boo him. That's how its worked for at least 20 yrs. The reason the Ryback rivalry was when it started is because he slowly transitioned to heel, it wasn't overnight. HIAC, Survivor Series, than the Jan. 6 RAW, he cheated. And THAT NIGHT kicked off his rivalry with the Rock, not the next wk's episode.

WWE favorites: Punk, Sheamus, Lesnar, Ambrose, Rollins, Reigns,
Del Rio, Orton, Bryan, Ziggler, Wyatt, Usos, Cesaro, Mysterio, Kane
DGPW: Doi, Yoshino, Tozawa, Yamato, Dragon Kid, BxB Hulk, Ricochet, Super Shisa
NJPW: Okada, Nakamura, Styles ROH: Briscoes, Fish and O'Reilly, Young Bucks
All-Time: Rock, Punk, Lesnar, Angle
