Re: Miz is a comedy of errors...

You guys are being overly ridiculous about this. The guy made a mistake. Mistakes do happen. Even in WWE. Especially when you're rushing. It looks like he started off setting up the move correctly, but Ziggler's leg slipped out of his hands. Instead of just starting the whole move over, though, he just tried to lock in the move without the first step and it ended up looking sloppy.

Keep in mind that it was a Beat the Clock match, though. He and Ziggler probably had to make sure that they didn't waste any time in order to make the match end when it was supposed to. Timed matches have to have a bit more thought given to them. Like I said, Miz rushed it. It also makes sense kayfabe-wise, because of the match type, so Miz doesn't end up looking so bad in the end. I do think he would have had time to retry to first step of the move, but it's over now. No big deal. He'll master the move eventually.

After I watched him for many years. He does get better than before. But I can't call him a good performer. Because he make a mistake "a lot". There's some guy that you just know that he's suck no matter what. And he's the one. I always respect Miz for his hardworking and his pretty good mic skills. But I'll never call him a good performer because he's never be able to entertain me in the ring, at all.

I'm not saying that he's one of the greatest in-ring performers in WWE. Hell, I wouldn't even go as far as to say that he's even a good in-ring performer, period. Not in my taste. I was merely just pointing out the obvious - that he made a mistake. That having been said, I do respect The Miz. He has greatly improved since he first started in WWE and he became a much, much bigger star than anyone could have ever expected. I think the guy deserves a bit of a break for messing up the Figure Four one time.

just a human error...

if only one minor mistake cause people to lose his job then what about Ricky Steamboat? he should be fired from WWE too? he's an FCW trainer!

It's part of the storyline with Flair.
Yeah it's a work NOW, what else could they say after that shit? He needs to "master" the figure 4 - that's like mastering the fucking chokeslam.

"And Kaitlyn turns to Kane to master the chokeslam!"
:kane

Miz has some degree of mic skills, but he's not great in the ring. Still, see the Ricky Steamboat failed Figure 4 above. Even the greats fuck shit up. Perhaps it's the state of wrestling, but Miz is one of the top stars in the company, as in the top half. He'll never be great, but he has the potential to be "somebody of use" as long as he stays at the midcard scene for the foreseeable future.

It's a shame and embarrassing when his girlfriend who only had 2 years of wrestling experience at that point did the move way better than him.

I've always gotten flamed for calling Miz a below average wrestler, it looks like the face turn is showing his true colors. He's only good when he's facing the likes of Daniel Bryan. Remember his bad match with John Cena? I'll give credit where credit is due. Guy is good on the mic and should stick to commentary.

Where is the introduction thread btw?

Re: Miz is a comedy of errors...

the difference between Ricky Steamboat and Miz is blessing passing the torch of Ric Flair finishing move Figure Four...

Steamboat clearly don't know how to do it and miz fucked it up.
