He has been rammed down our throats ever since raw1000. Raw right now is basically raw is punk. Half hour promos.

The man brought in 5 of the last 7 lowest overruns in wwe history.

If he got pushed any further wwe would be out of business.

Absolutely, yes he was.

Being shoved down the viewer's throats mostly has to do with air time and the significance that's placed upon their air time. CM Punk got more air time than anybody else on the show (by far), got the most replays, was always in a lengthy and significantly aired fued, and has still not lost at a single PPV.

He got the most mic time by a huge margin. Bringing up AJ doesn't change the fact that CM Punk was also shoved down everyone's throats too.

Even with Punk holding the top title every single day of the year, John Cena was still shoved in our face more. That never gets old, does it?

He should've been promoted more.

What we got was the Cena and AJ show.

Now, RAW has fans to lose, and its losing em. And it has no competition. So logically, its much much worse than it was in 1997. A 2.2 with no competition is worse than a 2.2 with gargantuan Time Warner competition. It's like being turned down by a prostitute.

CM Punk was rammed down our throats. And this is worse than even Cena being rammed down our throats. Because Cena ia a guy you can love to hate. Punk can neither solicit hate nor excitment. He can solicit neither heat nor pops. Dead heat is worse than bad heat. Cena has X-Pac heat, which is WAY higher up the status chain than dead heat.
This.Well said, his constant whining, bitching, is what makes a casual fan within me change the channel.

Absolutely not. His real exposure came into play when he GTS The Rock on the 1000th episode of Monday Night RAW. Before all of that he was nothing more than a mid-card title holder who was having great matches on pay-per-view while John Cena, The Rock, Triple H, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Brock Lesnar, Mr. Excitement, Big Show etc. was in the main event. If anything he need to be shoved down our throats more as he should, he is the WWE Champion afterall.

agreed, he'll always play 2 nd fiddle to cena. But part of that is the writers fault. By not booking punk for more main events.
