So, when do you think Wade wins the WHC?

When Vince's brain cells return to him.

No time soon, and I like Barrett (he has some potential at least). He's just plain, and nothing really stands out anymore. I used to dig the English gentleman/barrage shit, but he's been no where for a while. I can't tell you the last time I heard he cut a decent promo..does he even get mic time anymore?

Barrett's good enough in the ring and I do believe he's several decent-good TV matches since returning. His biggest problem though isn't so much his psychology though, but rather his pacing. You look at a guy like Undertaker, and he has the art of starting things out slow perfectly, but then moving towards a quicker pace as the match progresses and builds that up perfectly, or can start the match quick depending on the opponent.

Barrett however starts the match slow... keeps the match slow... and it remains slow for the most part. If he's not in there with a guy like Kofi or Bryan or Sheamus to pick the pace up as the match goes on when they gain control, his matches fall flat and that's why he needs a guy like that. He executes his move to near perfection, has some semblance of in-ring psychology and has some moves that wakes the crowd up like Winds of Change, his running big boot when a guy is between the top and middle rope, and his back-kick. He just needs to work on his pacing, as he keeps the pace slow for far too long.

Wade is one of the, if not THE most badass brawler in the business right now, and I hope he drops the IC title & gets a main event push ASAP. The good thing about his character is that he's not been a cowardly heel since returning from injury, and if creative can keep that up, they have themselves a major star for many years to come. Hopefully the win over Orton will help, as long as the Viper doesn't squash him in a rematch next week

Also, the Bullhammer is SO much better than Wasteland, it looks much more painful and can come out of nowhere, which can make for more unpredictable and interesting matches..

I'm hoping for a WHC reign for sometime this year, one of my faves definitely!

I don't really see it. I mean he has all the tools, but WWE can't figure how to make this guy work. He's already being outpaced by Cesaro and I don't see him breaking out unless it's against someone like a Ziggler going by in ring. As for promos, good enough.

Wade is better than Sheamus in nearly every department. The only aspect Sheamus is better than Wade at is his in ring work overall and as far as brawling is concerned they are about equal. Wade has a better look and presence, is more charismatic, is without a doubt better at delivering promos and has a better character (but then again most performers have a better character than Sheamus right now who has become smiling face #10000). Sheamus could rival Wade a little bit if he was still a heel (as he plays a horrific babyface) but even then Wade plays a better heel overall than Sheamus.

the bullhammer needs to be changed im sorry its not exciting to watch. its the same as big shows "big punch" its about as menacing as the "clothesline from hell" OH NO!! lol but yes Barrett is one guy im rooting for to be WHC hardcore

Hope Wade gets to be a main event champ one day but WWE has a knack of pulling the rug from under people building momentum to see if they got over out of luck or if they can do it consistently. Miz had a top run then was demoted and is currently trying to build back up. Cody Rhodes and Daniel Bryan were both getting mega over before being demoted to the tag-team division. Dolph Ziggler looked on fire for a good while before going into tag team obscurity with Jack Swagger but, persisted and was rewarded with Money in the Bank and finally looks set to make it to the big leagues.

Wade had his initial test the waters in his feud with Cena as leader of the Nexus, since they have demoted him and repackaged him and now he is in the second phase of his career with his IC run. This is the real proving ground time where many like Kofi, R-truth, Matt Hardy, Shelton Benjamin, John Morrison etc failed to capitalise and reshape themselves that final time to propel them to the next level. I am not sold yet on if Wade will be one of those eternal midcard loopers or if he can do something to break from the pack, time will tell once he drops the IC title but dont be shocked to see another random tangent in his career such as a brief makeshift tag-team alliance before he gets his chance at either the WWE or WHC.

I disagree but you get points for the bubbles face

I wish they would thrust him in the main event already, they need a new heel
and Barrett is just the answer.

As for the comparison to Sheamus, I can't believe you guys think that Wade and Sheamus
are equal in the ring. Sheamus is actually above in that category, he may not be a great technician
but he can make great match with the right oponent.
