You're serious? Jericho came back specifically to try and put his ass over, at Wrestlemania for fucks sake and give him a defining moment in his reign by beating one of the best of all time.

The only reason why that failed was because Jericho was made to look like a complete bitch the entire time, and he never won the belt or any matches prior so it felt like there was nothing at stake. Punk went over Jericho time and time again, and Jericho never got to establish any credibility at all and the match itself could have been much better than it was.

People had already forgotten the pipbomb. It didn't even make sense anyway. Plus every body was doing shoots back in the late 90's, most of them way better than Punk's btw.

Considering that whether you prefer Punk or Jericho (or both or neither) is totally a matter or personal opinion, I fail to see why this thread has devolved into insults and bickering. OH WAIT NEVER MIND BECAUSE IT'S WRESTLINGFORUM.

Seriously, though. I'm a total mark for both. Jericho is my personal all-time favorite. I can see that both arguments have merit. Hell, both wrestlers have a lot in common. And their feud was feud of the year 2012 IMO.

Really, this is a question that would be better served by a poll and conversation than these either/or statements.
