Let's see... he's a feminist, he's confident, drug-free, believes that you should do whatever you love/have a passion for as a carrier, has helped his friends when they were in shitty situations i.e. Mercury, the women loves him, he has strong beliefs and morals, he's very real, is a great wrestler above all and still pretty down to earth... so yeah, I think he's definitely a guy to look up to. If I was trying to become a wrestler, I'd definitely try to study his matches/promos to learn something, too.
The dudes straight edge, trying to live like that I'd find pretty hard
Steve Austin- But when i rolled in this town i was worried, i was scared, i was nervous, i was petrified, i was horrified, you know why, cos i found out that this was a dry county, you think its funny when SCSA roles into a dry county, WHAT you think its funny WHAT.....I took debra, went to the liquor store, i loaded up with alcohol, more specifically vodka, whiskey, beer, tequila, MORE BEER, MORE VODKA, MORE WHISKEY, AND MORE BEER!!!
A friend of mine compared me to him once. I speak my mind, I'm terrible at holding relationships together, I hold people to unrealistically high standards and I'm kind of a snob about how I interact with people. It really made me think about what an asshole I'd be being. Something I have to struggle with pretty hard.
You guys have to be teenagers or just haven't matured yet. Punk is in his mid 30's and acts like the kids that shop at Hottopic. There's all this talk of how "We can connect with Punk because he's just an ordinary guy". Punk looks lazy and unmotivated to accomplish anything. If you don't want to dedicate yourself to be healthy and fit and keep a positive mental attitude that's fine. Not everyone can do it and clearly Punk can't do it. Punk needs someone to motivate him to get rid of his generic, non-athletic ordinary guy look. Being straight edge isn't the only recipe for success. He's not the only person on the planet that is drug free. I don't drink I don't smoke, but that doesn't make me better than anyone.
Mods move if its in the wrong section, but does CM Punk inspire anybody else on these forums? I know its all a work, but CM Punk it somewhat real. He inpsires me to be a major asshole, and to not give a fuck. To drop pipebombs on my closest friends, or co workers, or bosses. I recently had a beef with one of my ex gfs boyfriends, this dude is twice as big as me, I saw this as basically a CM Punk vs. Ryback feud, and thought it was cool to have a guy twice as big as me wanting to kick my ass, but me wanting to be like Punk and go all in while playing chicken shit and smart at the same time.
I know I cant be the only one, does CM Punk inspire you one way or another? If I may quote Paul Heyman...If my son grows up to be like CM Punk, I will know I have done a good job.
If you really believe all that bs you wrote makes sense, then allow me to quote Arnold Schwarzenegger:
