Re: Does CM Punk inspire you?

I wouldn't say he inspires me, but he feels more of a real character I can get behind than Cena and Ryback. I rather cheer for the guy with the average build and tattoos that looks like my brother than the big muscled freaks of nature.

He inspires me. I think he is fucking brilliant. I'd like to play a game of snooker against him.

Austin Aries inspires me.

5 foot 8. Tried so hard to get there, but always was too short to make it. Finally picked up by TNA as initially nothing more than a jobber, got over on talent and charisma, became a world champion and found his life-long dream.

Re: Does CM Punk inspire you?

Um.. idk if he inspires me, but I agree with his "pipebomb" thing. I believe if you have a problem with something then just dont take shit from others, it will only kill you. A person should be bold enough to call the bs down the middle like how it is and give his honest opinion no matter what the consequences will be. Because when you do that, you feel much more lighter from the inside.

I think i have been this way all my life, but yea seeing CM Punks character only makes me feel its a good quality. Being brutally honest is actually good for you and others around you in a long term, even if others think you are an asshole.

Though, the more I think about that, the more I hope Punk fans do act like him. Enjoy the fallout. Acting like that irl will make nearly everyone around you dislike you.

The straight edge thing is the only thing good about Punk, and you shouldn't need Punk to inspire you to be straight edge. You just need to have the balls to not be peer pressured into it by geeks or otherwise have no outstanding social traits.
Why would you want that? Then CM Punk fans will come on these forums and act all hard and ahhhh shit

Honestly fuck that. HHH is a real inspiration. I want to be like HHH. Fuck my bosses daughter, who happens to be super hot. Get married to her, put myself to the top of the company, and one day take over the company. All I have to do is a little ass kissing and boom I own a multi billion dollar company. Triple H, you are a real inspiration.

Not only that, but I beat up this homeless guy on the street and I thought it was cool because Triple H did the same thing to Mick Foley.

Re: Does CM Punk inspire you?

If I were a wrestler, yeah, his life and career would be the first thing I'd turn to for inspiration. He worked his ass off to get to where he is. You have guys like Cena who unfairly are portrayed as the underdogs, but Punk really is an underdog. People like him aren't supposed to be successful; so for him to prove everyone wrong is a massive achievement.

Rocky seems so cheerful and collected despite his busy schedule; while Cena's "rise above the hate" is quite genuine, especially when I'm doing my undergraduate thesis alone right now.

As for CM Punk, it's pretty much the opposite. I used to be the type of guy who likes to push buttons and pierce hearts with my honesty... but it's socially aggressive and sometimes drives people away. I live in a conservative and sensitive culture by the way so being a CM Punk here is equivalent to being a serial killer (we won't even have serial killers here either).
The Philippines, right? I agree. Not to stereotype or anything but the majority of filipinos are among the most sensitive people I have ever met. Not joking.
