Also, there are guys like Santino, Riley, Brodus, Bateman, Yoshi, Ryder etc. who deserve to get pushed as faces, and if Ziggler turns, the face side will be bogged down even more and those guys will never get a chance to move up, unless they turn heel, which would be a waste of their potential.

No disrespect, but all the faces you mentioned there just aren't that good. Don't know anything about Bateman though.

That is you're opinion, and you are entitled to it. But you ain't entitled to you're own facts.
People like Ziggler, because he is entertaining in ring.

Would Rey Mysterio be marketable if he was a heel?
Besides, watch Raw, and you do see a lot of his t shirts, so they are selling. Ziggler will get over as a true underdog face, who gives great matches, and make the kiddies believe he will lose, before winning.

He will never get over with the fans he is to plain, a lower to midcarder for life. The IWC for some reason just has a massive hard on for him. The guy is what is called a channel changer, when he comes on your average fan changes the channel. Thats why they put him with AJ because she is over. you can like him all you want im not hating on you just pointing out the facts

Re: Backstage News On Why Ziggler Might Turn Babyface Soon
I don't know if I like the idea of Ziggler as a face. I'm sure the guy can pull it off nicely because he's incredibly talented, but I think his look, personality, and even his wrestling style better suit him as a heel. How can a guy be a show off if he's a face?
Keep Dolph Ziggler a heel for now.

They didn't put AJ with him to put over Dolph, they did it to continue putting over AJ. Vickie was far more over than AJ, adding AJ to his act was simply removing one anchor for another one. Hell, he had far more momentum right before the ladder match against Cena than after being paired with the vanity project.
The fact of the matter has always been that whatever AJ is involved in that didn't heavily involve resident enhancement talent Daniel Bryan carrying her on his back has flopped and slowly died away. Dolph has never been given the chance to develop his character on his own at a high level for any length of time in any promotion, so he can't suddenly carry this new heat leech while trying to garner momentum for himself.

I do have one question for anyone who might feel that Dwayne Johnson "owes" the business. Is it just him, or is it anyone who moved on to other things? Should Luna Vachon get heat for running a towing company instead of working on RAW? Should Maven be critiqued on his Home Shopping Network bits instead of wrestling?
Or is it only the ones who go on to highly visible careers in movies that owe something? Why do Johnson (who left after putting people over, doing the traditionally "right thing") and Lesnar (who did not; except for making Eddie a legitimate star) get called sell-outs who "forgot where they came from" when someone who retires to do some regular job get credit (as they should) for moving on and making it without falling into a sea of addiction?

Re: Backstage News On Why Ziggler Might Turn Babyface Soon
Horrible idea. Not that he would necessarily make a bad face, but what heels will we be left with? And then Big Show might be leaving?
Unless by soon they mean next year, and even that might be too soon in my opinion.
