Wrestling is fake, so if he seems to be relevant to viewers than he IS relevant, by definition. Ryback "seems" to be relevant just as much as Punk "seems" to be the WWE Champion. Oh, and he was entertaining ppl before the Punk feud, hence the chants during every match and ppl flipping out when they saw him confront Punk backstage to kick off the feud. Now, he'll be in the Rumble. I sympathize with you in that he disappointed me once he entered the main event scene, cuz I don't think he's ready, but that doesn't mean he's not a great wrestler who's doing really well.

And I can't prove to you he'll continue to be relevant, cuz I don't know what his next storyline will be. Do you know what your favorite wrestler is doing after their current storyline? Gee, I guess he's irrelevant. Hold ppl to the same standards and you'll realize Ryback is as 'relevant' as everyone else, even if you don't personally like the guy.

Right, Punk and Ryback have equal relevance. That's why Punk has been WWE Champion for over a year and is facing the Rock while Ryback has never won a big match in his career.

He also needs to drop about 50lbs so he has the stamina to actually wrestle a full match. there's no way he can put on 20 minute PPV matches with his current roided up physique. he cant even wrestle a tag match without doing a table spot as a rest-hold for 5+ minutes. if he just got off the roids for a little while he'd get smaller and maybe become a better wrestler.

Keeping him at his current size also sets a dangerous precedent, if WWE is going with Ryback as a main eventer for years to come and future WWE champion, it means other guys need to be somewhat near his size in order to be a convincing opponent, and thats not possible without them also using steroids.

Nobody said he was as relevant as Punk, but being in the Main Event picture since October means he's relevant. His future storyline looks likes he's going to be feuding with The Shield, the top heel stable in the WWE, so that would still keep him relevant while Punk feuds with The Rock.
