Also:

Paige from NXT would disagree as would the Hardys.
Most 18-22 year old wrestlers would agree though

No not Daniel Bryan, no not Dean Amrose, not CM Punk. A cool young kid 18-22 year old cool looking wrestler who can connect with the kids.
No. I will say that the WWE needs another "underdog" type character which is exactly what Sean Waltman was while playing the role of 1-2-3 Kid. I don't know that they have anyone on the current roster that could really pull that off at this point. Rey Mysterio was an example of that, but he is no longer an "underdog". They just fired Trent Barretta, whom would have been the perfect choice for this. However, WWE fans just couldn't get in to him.

I know he's not young, but couldn't they pull this off using Santino M? The kids already like him, he's a goofball underdog, and he has shown that he can win some matches he shouldn't. Maybe he could mentor a younger "cousin" or "nephew" or something to fill the role. Someone who is an underdog, but not goofy like his "uncle" Santino. The kids would certainly understand being embarassed by an older adult family member, and the need to prove himself as being capable on his own.

Maybe but it's too complicated. Kids need simple angles.

Re: RAW needs a 1-2-3-Kid type of wrestler again!

If I really wanted a new 1-2-3 kid, I'd rather scout some 23-26 year olds. Even talented 18-22 year olds like say Adam Cole for example would be even better with a few more years under their belt. Besides the average age of the roster is like early to mid thirties anyway so you don't need someone really young.

That being said, I wouldn't hold my breath because the guy would automatically slide back down to the undercard the minute creative didn't have anything immediate for him just like what happened with Evan Bourne and Tyson Kidd when they got put over.
