In 04, Rock was really on that Hollywood shit, but on a face level. It was amazing.

I really find people who think the Rock is coming back to wrestle full time as WWE champion after the rumble to be hilarious.
idk i guess im just really bored with the ol vince "the ratings are shit put the rock on tv!" mentality. Him showing up to wrestle in ONLY the Main Events of the largest PPVs of the year. Which essentially are spots that could be filled with the week in week out workers who need pushes. Trust me he wont be staying in the business this time around so a heel turn would seem pointless..
Put it this way...put The Rock in the main event now..have casuals buy that PPV and hopefully they see wrestlers that are worth something before it. Give them reasons to actually wanna see people other than The Rock.
He doesn't need to go heel to say anything funny. He just needs WWE to not be told to throttle back his promos.

Hates when the most over wrestler on the planet comes back for a few segments and a match since it "takes up space" and "prevents active guys being built up".
Loves when active guy takes up same segment space for 80 straight weeks to prevent other active guys on the roster from being built up.
Dwayne isnt a full time wrestler anymore so he wouldnt be around much to be a heel. My god why cant you people get over the fact he isnt a wrestler anymore. He only does one off appearances
I'd like to see it. I love the Rock, and think they could quite easily rehash his "hollywood Rock" return from, what, 98/99? I enjoy him most of the time anyway, mind.
It wouldn't work today, but back in 2003 Hollywood heel Rock was the greatest thing ever. I loved everything about it. The leather jacket, the shades, the swag. DAT THEME. The entrance video. The adjusted music.
