"Finally the Rock has come back to Tor... Toron... to run his mouth on all your candyasses!"
LEGENDARY
Yeah it was gold.
Today, a hollywood rock would fit perfectly. He would bring up the fact that he's rarely in the wwe and everytime he comes back, he's in the mainevent and all that stuff. It would definitely work the crowd. Big time
I'm not a huge Rock fan, but i enjoy him more as a face. He knows how to play to the crowd very well, he always has the crowd in the palm of his hands.

I have no problem with face Rock but i would love to see him as a heel hes beyond gold as Hollywood Rock one of the greatest characters in wrestling history

He knows exactly how to get the fans to turn against him too. That Toronto promo posted earlier is a great example of that.
and what would be the point of him turning heel? Besides ruining the CM Punk Rivalry?
I really find people who think the Rock is coming back to wrestle full time as WWE champion after the rumble to be hilarious.
idk i guess im just really bored with the ol vince "the ratings are shit put the rock on tv!" mentality. Him showing up to wrestle in ONLY the Main Events of the largest PPVs of the year. Which essentially are spots that could be filled with the week in week out workers who need pushes. Trust me he wont be staying in the business this time around so a heel turn would seem pointless..

I always preferred him as a face and his 2003 heel turn only worked because the fans back then felt betrayed that he'd left for Hollywood, most people in the live crowds these days weren't watching the show twelve years ago so don't have that same attachment to The Rock that made people turn on him.
Not with the Punk feud but yeah it would be awesome to see him heel

I love The Rock face or heel, but if he stays with the part time thing then a heel wouldn't work. To be booed he'd have to be on TV bashing the crowd regularly.
If he ends up staying after Wrestlemania, which he won't, then I could see a Heel turn to try and put over some new babyfaces.
