Re: Rock/Cena (28/3 Raw) or Rock/Punk (7/1 Raw),Which promo better?
Anybody who says Cena/Rock is delusional. Cena blows and that whole feud was boring besides seeing the Rock on TV again. There is absolutely nothing legendary about Cena that made it epic. The dude is a total fail and just a reminder of how bad things have been with him as the top guy since the Rock left.

Damn.. I accidentally voted for Cena/Rock............ Well I was more hyped for Cena/Rock but I liked Rock/Punk much more. The whole Cena/Rock was a trainwreck as compared to Rock/Punk.

Punk/Rock because Punk's promo skills were in full overdrive.

Re: Rock/Cena (28/3 Raw) or Rock/Punk (7/1 Raw),Which promo better?
For me, it's still too early to tell with all the promos that has happened with Cena/Rock since last year, and the promo Punk and Rock did last week. With that said, that one promo last week did a much, much more effective job of putting over the fact that the match is must see.
TBH, the only instances I remember from the Cena/Rock feud as epic, was Rock Concert III and the one night return of Thuganomics Cena. Other than that, everything else was baseless trash. Cena didn't do the subtle things to sell the match, it was as if he either didn't take The Rock seriously enough, or he already knew he was going to do the job and had a sore asshole about it so he no-sold everything during those promos.

Not even a comparison. That Rock/Punk promo was incredible, and better than each promo Cena and Rock have ever had together.

Cena/Rock is iconic, but Rock/Punk is far better quality wise.

this one is easy. it was punk/rock. they both know how to play their damn role. coz of that, it feels so real and so good, especially what CM Punk said.

6/27/11 is same important as 6/23/96
A legend never dies: June 18, 1962 - June 13, 2009
Not removing until:
[] Shelton Benjamin makes a comeback
[] Charlie Haas makes a comeback
[] Kenny Dykstra makes a comeback
[] Raw makes again a 6.5 or even a higher rating
[] John Morrison becomes WWE champion
[] CM Punk wins Royal Rumble
[] CM Punk and Daniel Bryan main eventing Wrestlemania in an iron man match (and so creating epic stuff as e.g. misawa and kawada did in their matches)
[] WWE pays tribute to Mitsuharu Misawa
Punk holding the title for 434 days was epic. it was the greatest reign in the history of wrestling (but not the way the reign ended):
4-3-4
4-3-4
4-3-4

Re: Rock/Cena (28/3 Raw) or Rock/Punk (7/1 Raw),Which promo better?
Rock-Cena.( and I'm not just saying that because I'm biased)
Everything was just amazing. The atmosphere. The first confrontation. It was unreal.Based on that promo alone. The build up, however, could have been much better.
Rock-Punk was good and Punk's promo was solid but I'm not the least bit excited about this feud. When Rock was in the ring , Punk kinda looked like a nobody and he's the champ!! It's not entirely his fault, his booking hasn't been stellar even though he's been champ for more than a year.
And I know, Rock will make anyone look anyone from the current roster look like a jobber.
But, say what you want, even though Cena looked kinda below Rock when they were in the ring together, he had an aura about him that Punk quite doesn't have ( at least, not yet).

Cena is so far behind Punk on the mic these days its not even funny. I feel kind of bad for John. His promos are garbage compared to Punks.
