Cena/Rock first time ever was simply epic. Watch that 3/28/11 promo and, like Cena says, feel the electricity. The crowd, the atmosphere, even Cena himself was pretty great. IMO, that AA from Cena to Rock was the best part in their feud.

Their promos in 2012 were terrible though.

Rock and Cena in the ring together for the first time was special for the image itself rather than anything said, like Starbuck said "DA ROCK AN JAWN CENA IN DA RING ZOMG!" something I think many people thought they wouldn't see and everyone was probably still half in shock of Rock being back in a WWE ring and as Rock said at the time no one had attacked Cena like the way The Rock did prior.

Rock/Punk is different in the fact were now again very used to the idea of Rock in a WWE ring and while its still awesome whenever he's on its just apart of this 2nd swansong WWE run he's on (2011 - present) but the material of Rock/Punk kills that of Rock/Cena IMO.

You don't HAVE to check when you saw the entire build and know that it wasn't better. Punk vs Rock was going to be better than Cena vs Rock just on the basis of who's in it. Cena can't throw down on the mic anywhere near Punk's level.

That segment was awesome Cena vs Rock was not.

I honestly don't remember a thing about the Rock/Cena promos. I saw them all but it didn't mean shit to me.

So I'm obviously going Rock/Punk. Hell, I was far more entertained by Rock's promo last night with Rhodes Scholars than ANYTHING in the Rock/Cena feud. As far as I'm concerned Rock/Cena was one of the poorest feuds we've had in the last few years.

I'd rather have The Rock vs The Miz at WrestleMania 29 than The Rock vs John Cena simply because of the horrible promos and storytelling by Cena. I watched all the great feuds and build ups since 1990 when I became a fan but I never saw so much amateurism, breaking character and no selling than by John Cena in the segments with The Rock. It was fun watching Cena almost crying when the Rock owned him multiple times but it was just embarrassing watching "the face of the company" act like that.
