Rock/Cena's first confrontation was a bigger deal, but Punk/Rock was a more enjoyable segment, since Rock said a lot more than he did this time around. That being said, the Rock/Cena promo was still great.

Rock/Punk.
No Rock/Cena promo touches it. Not even close.

Re: Rock/Cena (28/3 Raw) or Rock/Punk (7/1 Raw),Which promo better?
Yep Punk /Rock by miles. The high point was Punks spot getting at him about all the catchphrases and so on, then the reaction - the first part of at least. It dropped a bit when Rock started with his tattoos on Punks booty and so on. Last year with Cena, all Rock had was to rip the piss out of him - its all you can do with Cena, because all he ever does is stand there grinning like a fucking goon. Punk delivers shit that should - and Im confident will - draw the best out of the Rock, the best since those amazing exchanges with HHH back in 2000. Promo-wise, there isnt a pairing available right now that have the potential to dial it up like these two. Next Monday should be amazing. Should be.

Rock/Punk is a lot better than Rock/Cena in my eyes.
The part from where Punk talks, they stare at each other and then The Rock rebuttals, is masterful.

Rock/Cena promo was iconic for obvious reasons. The promo itself was shit though.
Rock/Punk wasn't iconic but the promo delivered big time.

Re: Rock/Cena (28/3 Raw) or Rock/Punk (7/1 Raw),Which promo better?
Cena/Rock could've been better had they focused more on promoting the match instead of throwing jokes and insults at each other every week. It became a case of who won this week? etc etc With Punk/Rock, it's what it should've been for Cena/Rock. Punk convincingly saying "I'm going to kick your ass", etc and Rock saying time will up and even praising his toughness just sends the vibe of how important the match will be. Cena/Rock also felt a bit forced... I dunno exactly what it was, maybe the fact that the expectations of a feud had been talked about for years, and when it finally happened, it's like throwing everything at once. That might be nitpicking on my part, though. Also, Punk is a better on the mic than Cena imo, so that definitely helps the case.

Re: Rock/Cena (28/3 Raw) or Rock/Punk (7/1 Raw),Which promo better?
Here's how it goes for me
1. That Cena/Rock promo was a way bigger deal and is a HUGE moment in RAW and WWE history no doubts by anyone at all? I thought so. (Segment had 7.4 million people watching)
2. Rock/Punk promo was more entertaining and felt more personal. Miz's presence kind of ruined the Rock/Cena one.
