Re: Where Do You See Bryan Stand After Hell No Is Over?

I'd say back to where he was, the World title. He will go on to win this again, lose it, then challenge for the WWE title. I think Vince has big plans for Bryan, he knows how popular he is, Vince is not stupid ffs, he is a money making tycoon, he knows that DB is currently over with the audience, and will profit on all of it, in a good way. We will see some great matches

Re: Where Do You See Bryan Stand After Hell No Is Over?

I would like to believe he will move back to the world title hunt, but I could probably see him fueding with like an upper midcarder like Barrett for the IC title or Cesaro for the US title until the WHC/WWE championship picture opens up. The thing for him to do is move smoothly from this yes yes yes no no no angle to something more reputable, get away from the Eric Young type of thing, and more into a "im funny but you don't want to fuck with me" kind of thing which would flow perfectly out of a solo upper midcard fued with someone legit

“Look, let’s start with some tough love. You two suck at peddling meth. Period. Did you not plan for this contingency? I mean even the Starship Enterprise had a self-destruct button.... I'm just saying.” –

Re: Where Do You See Bryan Stand After Hell No Is Over?

WWE has never and will never take Bryan seriously. It does not matter what he does or proves, they will never give him a genuine star push. It's already been proven when he was legitimately main event level hot he got his legs cut out from under him rather than nourished and protected. You only need to look how they treat the Del Rio's and Sheamus' of the world who get everything and are constantly getting paid the big bucks in the key spots because they are the guys WWE have chosen to go with. That's why he's hardly promoted on house show circuits and simply Kane's keychain jobber buddy like Hurricane Helms before him.

I do have one question for anyone who might feel that Dwayne Johnson "owes" the business. Is it just him, or is it anyone who moved on to other things? Should Luna Vachon get heat for running a towing company instead of working on RAW? Should Maven be critiqued on his Home Shopping Network bits instead of wrestling?

Or is it only the ones who go on to highly visible careers in movies that owe something? Why do Johnson (who left after putting people over, doing the traditionally "right thing") and Lesnar (who did not; except for making Eddie a legitimate star) get called sell-outs who "forgot where they came from" when someone who retires to do some regular job get credit (as they should) for moving on and making it without falling into a sea of addiction?

Re: Where Do You See Bryan Stand After Hell No Is Over?

Personally I'm hoping for a program vs. Antonio Cesaro for the US title after Hell No breaks up. First of the matches would be really good, and I think it can elevate both Cesaro and Bryan. Cesaro is obviously working an anti-American character, I'd love to see Bryan take up the American Dragon monniker again and defeat Cesaro for the title.
Cesaro can move up the card and Bryan can re-gain the credibility he lost as a midcard comedy jobber.

After a couple months Bryan will likely be over enough and credible enough to return to the main event. I wouldn't mind a program vs. Cena for the summer (I'm assuming Cena wins the title soon and gets a lenghty run, though I'm not expecting Bryan to be the one to end Cena's reign.

Mid carder, and possibly jobbing to the stars.
