Default It's about time Bryan got serious again! Or at least cut ties with Kane & get a push

Fair enough at first this whole comedy gimmick was fine and him partnering with Kane had some funny segments and did add prestige to the tag division but enough is enough.

Daniel Bryan is one of the best on the mic and in the ring and its about time he got serious again.

Its now become sad watching somebody like Bryan a former WHC now floundering in the tag division with a comedy gimmick and whilst it has been funny you have to weigh up how you would like to be remembered when you have left and accomplish everything you can.

I dont know how much of it is Daniel Bryan's decision but it would seem he has been compromised as a short term comedy act instead of a long term main event talent. And before anyone mentions his size looks at Rey Mysterio, Shawn Michaels and Eddie Guerrero (admittedly he could do with a shave).

Maybe the last year was about establishing him as a recognised and liked wrestler but right now he should be in his pride and back in the WWE title scene. Its a crying shame that someone so talented isn't been utilised more effectively. Hes gone from WWE champion contender/MITB winner/ WHC champion to comedy tag act.

I would love to see him have a serious push with a great story line. I re-watched CM Punk/Daniel Bryan/ The Rock promo and I would love to see them two in a match/feud.

Fair enough comedy can work i.e Kurt Angle and possibly its not the comedy that is the problem. But he needs pushing to the top and towards the WWE Championship. Because he is wasted in the position he is in. Team Hell No has now run its course.

Hopefully they will end it with a final match at Wrestlemania. Then allowing Daniel Bryan to go onto bigger and better things.

Then you suggest that someone as talented as Bryan stays in the midcard whilst his partner (who is 14 years older) has accomplished winning every major championship.

Not happening this year, or at least till after Wrestlemania or so. Besides if Daniel Bryan is smart he will change his gimmick around when he feels the need to change it. It will be interesting to see what WWE does with him after he and Kane break off.

Besides there's no need. Angle did comedy as a top level face, so can Bryan. There's no reason to fix what isn't broken.

daniel is fine, he got a character now that people loves, he is over as fuck both with smark and casual, and he is ready at any moment to be pushed again, it's just that at this moment both title leaves no open

for the WHC you got ADR, big show, sheamus, ziggler and soon enough randy orton, while for the wwe title we got ryback, the rock and cena on the hunt

ziggler's reign could be a breath of fresh air if booked right.. ziggler is nowhere near credible enough to feud with the likes of randy orton (in main event mode), big show and sheamus, so maybe wwe can take a risk and push some new guys to feud with him like D-bry, or Barret, or Sandow or even Cesaro (yeah i know the last three are heel but it's not my fault if they don't have any good up and coming face)

Fair enough but he was been pushed as a top guy and for the WWE title.

Daniel Bryan's fine the way he is right now. He can keep his current character if WWE ever decided to give him a push at the top. Serious Bryan wouldn't get much of a reaction, IMO. Now, he always gets a crowd reaction. Why change it? Like someone said, Angle had a humorous side to him and he was just fine.

He's on TV every single week and he gets to entertain thousands of fans all around the world with his comedy shtick. He's only been in the company for 3 years and he's still relatively young being in his early thirties. I'm sure he's happy doing what he's doing ATM and in the future he could be given the chance to be a serious contender again.
