What was the justification of Punk's heel turn?

I mean its actually quite stupid, so basically he has this whole conspiracy against him trying to stop him winning the title. And to be honest there was, I mean when Punk was a babyface you had guys like Kevin Nash/John Laurinitis trying to screw him. And once he became champion, he had to defend himself from nearly all the 'heels'. It made me laugh at how he calls himself a ' Bad guy ' when no matter if he is trying to kayfabe it, because he cant... last year he was a good guy! I mean he got attacked, beat down etc... and even was given a sympathy storyline in the Jericho/Punk feud.

Rock earlier on the night Punk turned heel praised Punk and said ' Kick ass like I know you can ' and than Punk turns heel? What? and than although the crowd are still cheering Punk heavily, than blames the universe for turning on him, when actually the crowd were still chanting his name haha!

STILL REAL TO ME DAMNIT!
But no, what was punks reason for turning?

so he can keep on telling the truth that nobody wants to hear in the wwe universe. As a babyface he is retricted to telling lies nd smile in front of the camera

Re: What was the justification of Punks heel turn?

Very simple. He was a terrible face, so they decided to give him a heel turn

Re: What was the justification of Punks heel turn?

Because he was gonna feud with The Rock.

And WWE needed a legit top heel.

Re: What was the justification of Punks heel turn?

We got paul heyman.. a proper debut for ryback, a good debut for the shield, and a debut a Brad maddox... besides rock, he gave john cena a lost...rock is automatically face and cm punk would be perfect heel to face rock..

Re: What was the justification of Punks heel turn?

1) Because Punk is better as a heel.

2) Because they needed a good top heel.

3) Because making this move extended the life of his title reign creatively.

4) Because he was going to be working with The Rock and a heel vs. face set up is better than yet another face vs. face set up.

5) Because it allowed him to get Paul Heyman as a manager which made for a great pairing.

Take your pick.

I think the best explanation in kayfabe would be, he did not turn "heel", he just attacked The Rock because he has never liked him anyways and made that very clear in his 2011 shoot promo. So when he got the title reign, Rock (the very guy he doesnt like) comes back and announces out the blue that he is going for the WWE title... So punk attacks him.

Fans booed him for that, Lawler said he turned his back and his feud with Lawler was based on the very fact that in Punk's mind he did the right thing but people turned their back on him... So hates them back now.

Aside from all that crap.. who cares why someone turns heel or face unless they are entertaining. Truth is Punk was losing steam as a face so heel turn was a good idea.
