Nah, no audio problems. Crowd just flat out sucks ass in this modern time. The Rock, The fucking Rock couldn't even get a decent reaction. They popped when his music hit and they were all ready sitting back down by the time he got to the ring. And when he said "I'll be the WWE Champion" there was no reaction at all, a few cheers here and there.

It's unreal. These fucking modern lame ass people that go these shows with their technologically advanced brat children are helping destroy wrestling.

The Rock and CM Punk both did a great job last night.

People seem to be ragging on Cookie Puss. But do you know why Rock uses terms such as Cookie Puss or or other childish names, etc.? As funny as this sounds, the psychology behind it all is that he (as in the character) is belittling Punk. What's the best way to insult a guy like CM Punk, someone whom demands respect and to be taken seriously? Do the opposite. Treat them like a child. Make him feel small. It gets in their head more so than just calling them a swear. Swears are brash enough that if you're intelligent, you can brush them off. But to get the whole crowd to chant something as stupid as "Cookie Puss" to him, someone who demands respect and needs to be taken seriously, well, it must infuriate Punk (the character). That's why the Rock does something like that.

I'm sure that after the show Dwayne and Phil went off backstage, shook hands, laughed, and complimented each other on an incredible promo.

I've very rarely liked the corny insults that The Rock throws in, and didn't like it this time either, but overall I think The Rock did a very good job. He didn't let his catchphrases be the content of what he was saying but just used them to enhance a few things and he didn't just laugh Punk off (like Cena would) but painted him as a huge threat, although something he would still beat. I think that whole segment, beginning with Punk's long solo promo, was excellent. This alone had more and better intensity than anything in Rock vs Cena in my opinion.

I'm a huge Rock fan, but yeah, that cookie puss line really made me cringe. I'm also a huge Punk fan, but I never thought he'd be able to outshine the Rock. Last night, it felt like he did just that. I'd love to see this feud go on for a while, but I get the feeling it will end at the RR and each of them will be thrown into other feuds.

Maybe they didn't do anything because he didn't give them a reason to cheer. And why would there be a reaction when he said he was gonna be champion? That's like cheering when one of your friends is in an car accident. No one wants to see that

No I didnt cringe. The Rock owned CM Punk's ass and im marked out. And also the Rock is the greatest WWE superstar to ever be in WWE and when he goes out to the ring he has everyone in that arena in the palm of his hand no other superstar has ever done that. This is what all the guys in the back should be doing taking notes and learning from the great one

He is sadly just a shell of his former self now and is really ruining his legacy by doing such cheap and childish pander-to the crowd promos. The Rock of 1999 and 2003 would have come up with 1001 hilariously witty comebacks and shit all over Punks pipebomb (not to mention utterly destroy Cena last year) which IMO was the better part of that whole segment.

The Rock made a career doing that

Rock was awesome, Punk was awesome, I am pumped. Haven't watched for almost a month, this is what I needed to get back. Until Wrestlemania at least this is going to be a good ride.
