- After CM Punk defeated Ryback in the TLC match at tonight's RAW from Tampa, WWE trainers came down and tried to assist Ryback onto a stretcher but he pushed them off.
Four referees ended up helping him up the ramp and to the back. Our correspondent noted that he looked pretty beat up going to the back.
Though I do not like any wrestler to be hurt, if this keeps him from my TV screen it will be a fantastic.
Though hopefully he is not injured, perhaps it will make Vince realize muscle bound freaks who are not athletes but bodybuilders, are too injury prone and cannot take bumps, which any real sport helps you're body adapt too. After all, muscle fibers for strength are "designed" (evolved), to break to create more muscle fiber, while endurance muscle fibers do not break easily.
Thats stupid. There has been a ton of muscle bound freaks that have been able to take some huge bumps, plus wasnt CM Punk just injured as well because of his time in the ring?
Oh no, pleaso no. Here's a new star who is over, who is fresh AND very passionate about wrestling. I really hope that's not a injury because it would be horrible for him.
That Cena injury and Rock/Punk booked so far in advance really screwed him up. Maybe they should just kept him in the Intercontinential Championship picture with The Miz (seemed like that what they wanted to do) and put Orton/Kofi with Punk instead.
WWE never planned to put him over. He was a filler to take John Cena's place when he got hurt. Since then, they've just been looking for a way to write him out of the main event and have been having him lose to Punk repeatedly and get killed by The Shield repeatedly.
Unless my memory's failing me, the tally is now:
3 straight losses to CM Punk, and has been put through at least 5 tables by The Shield that I remember right now. Maybe have been another occaision I'm forgetting. Has also been beaten down to the point he's unable to fight back against The Shield on another 2 occaisions (no table spot involved). Oh yeah, and hit in the balls by the pussiest character on the roster too. All in the course of about 2 1/2 months.
So basically every other week on average, Ryback is getting destroyed.
Unlike many annoying doomsayers, I have had zero impression he was winning the Rumble. Absolutely not a favorite based on how WWE has booked him thus far. He will get eliminated by Ziggler or some other much weaker wrestler mid-match. Won't even be final 3.
Really starting to find myself not caring about the guy anymore, it's hard to be interested when they keep putting him in these situations where you know he's doomed to fail. I mean I knew what was coming but the finish just felt so underwhelming that my only reaction was meh. The match itself was actually pretty good though.
Now he'll probably move on to an immensely boring feud with Big Show, yawn.
Agreed. I used to be pretty excited when Ryback would come out, but now it feels like WWE won't do a fuckin thing with him. I doubt they'll write him off tv, but it seriously feels like he's going to end up being reduced to the muscle of a tag team (like Titus is), or end up losing to roll ups and shit to Zack Ryder and Santino.
He was probably just winded and it was his own fault, if you look at the footage he's looking over his shoulder at the table/landing and due to that didn't take the bump correctly I'm guessing.
